17 min video to talk about 1 flaw?
KZread has an audio stabilizer that seems to compress the sound of the demo Had to find it and turn it off. Big difference.
Excellent tutorial - thank you!
Please tell me if I can put on Tascam DR-05X wav files from my PC for use them as backing tracks in a live concert. I need a solution for crisis situation of laptop failure. Thank you.
What kind of file is produced when recording using the software? Can I then export that file onto a website? (I want to upload vocal narration samples)... thanks for the detailed video. This was the 2nd video review I have watched on this product 😲
Excellent Tutorial thank you!!!
No difference on phone speakers
I don’t hear any difference from all😂
Don Trump jnr. Hand gestures when talking about the compressor..
My recording today is completely out of sync.
It seems that you have the same problem with MKE400 like I have with MKE 440 & A7IV - High background noise. Have you tried to dial it further ? Any improvements since this video has been published ?
Hey, why do you use the headphone jack and not an actual output of the mixer like the main mix signal, aux sends and more?
Thanks for the honesty. Great video. I'll be honest. I'm new to editing and I have already experienced NOW in 2024 the drift issues. Why should I stay with Riverside if all I want is an easy solution for recording? I dropped ZOOM but now wonder if that is the right choice. The drift is very distracting and does take away from my followers experience. Not sure what to do now because all the information you provided is way beyond what I want to do with two podcasts to edit. Kudos back to you on this tutorial.
Thank you very much <3
How do you charge the microphone battery?
very informative video. Especially the compression part. Thanks a lot.
This video is very helpful for me. Thank you sir ! 🙏😁🙏😁
Having had both, I prefer the Samyang. The Sony is way over priced for what it is. Plus, I find that the Samyang seems to have better resolution and sharpness on my 42 mp camera. I mean if Sony were 50-100 dollars more, I might go that direction, but even then just not sure.
What if my phone has no aux port so i use C type to aux extension. Will the presence of that extension corrupt the audio in any way ? Samsung(no aux) ~ Ctype-to-aux(female) ~ tRRs-to-tRs ~ 🎤
Does it get recorded as a stereo channel in camera?
NO STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN
Outstanding and Thank You !
lol tascam model 12 is fancy huh? And I’m out…
Terrific breakdown. I just ordered a used NTG online for $179...my only concern is how much life the battery will have, something I really didn't consider.
The 6th 🙂
Thanks so much for your detailed explanation and that was not a rant you went on - these are the very things I wonder about! I got this plugged in and even though I took an Adobe course, I was overwhelmed with the which way the lines and waves should be going. Thank you so much for the explanation!
Is it a stereo
You lost all credibility with a comment on long USB cables losing audio quality.
Such a good review
Can you control the volume of the main outs without distorting the signal. For example, I push up the volume on the main fader to get more volume to my monitors, but its driving the internal signal of the board to distortion.
Since this was for spoken word, I really wonder why you didn't use the SM-57 with either of the two Shure foamies. Oh, well …
Dude, I was losing it. I am so glad to have found this video. So helpful. Still seeing drift issues on Riverside. Infuriating....
I purchased one of these for recording interviews because I like quality audio. Now I'm using it for content creation as well. The sound is amazing. Thanks for the tips on use. Especially on the input record volume!
super helpful thanks!!
Definitely a magician with that intro
thanks a lot
Unnecessary to make videos like this one.
You can power wash the deck lol
The most frequent problem I have with Riverside is when the guest's computer just stops recording locally (who knows why, maybe they run out of memory), then it is the biggest PITA to go in and cut up the HD files with the backup files. I had the mother of all issues today when the guest's HD file was about 7% faster than my HD file, and CapCut only allows me to change the speed in increments of 10%, so I just went with the crappy backup files, but the audio was horrible and had cracks all throughout.
No worries about the battery. It's doable to replace it, just by the professional with soldering iron. Replacement piece is standard element one can order outside rode
Wow. Still having this issue! Sounds like I'm going back to zoom... The whole point of an investment in Riverside was twofold: to increase quality and save time. If I have to go in and correct it, then that's a gamebreaker.

you hit the nail. Very helpfull
Please suggest me mic for voice over 150 dollars budget
HI, great video , which mic would you go with for recording guitar and backing music ? i am having trouble just using the mic on the sony VZ-1f i have , let me know what you think ,Thanks so funny how different videos i watch are so different , more videos said the rode was a better sounding than the movo

Thank you soooooo much!
Can I use that little thing for singing and playing guitar? Nice explanation ane video
why not recording with the minus setting and lowest in camera and then normalize it to -23 lufs or -14 lufs? so no input from he cam and 16 db self noise.
I have a sennheizer shot gun mic that has only TS 3.5mm and I want to use it with my pocket 3 what adaptor do I use?
