Back in the 1970's many of my friends moved to the woods of British Columbia to homestead, & to Arkansas woods but none stayed for more than a few years. They became sick, babies died of illness, fights broke out, and all returned to civilization.

Lovely , but I don't understand the negativity towards some sector ?? Have the council objected to you? Or have locals objected ? I just don't understand that bit. Yes you should be able to live on your own land as you wish. This is a real earthly existence , looks soo cosy too. Would there be a problem with rodents, especially in winter ??

Is there an update? I hope you are still living there in peace with your neighbors. I just saw your video for the first time. 2022. You know what? - Society is made up of bullies now. Children as bullies grew up and became adult bullies. We have so many bullies who enjoy their meanness. Im 62. I live in the States in the state of Maryland. I bought a “ tear down” 75 year old wood bungalow. I surprised everyone- I moved right in. Still here. My home isn’t beautiful or trendy or artistic or anything….. but it’s my quiet little nest. I applaud a person’s efforts to challenge the bully. 💗🌻🌿💗

I love your simplicity of life you are so right their is far to. Much control in others hands it puts so many restrictions on how people on this planet who want to live freely it restrictions their creativity and they end up living a life that's not them a lot of them get so overwhelming in huge debt paying for a home that they may never own I love to see people out there who are unique living and working living their lives the way that inspires them and is healthy ,just seen your video and heard you both have moved to the west of Ireland hope you are enjoying your new life here I'm living in the west of Ireland myself away from the restrictions of the East of Ireland happy days to you both and good health to enjoy what makes you both happy.

I know why you went to horses..no tax..no insurance..no mot...no petrol, oh..and a caravan..is not good company. You can't talk to a caravan, we you could..and look nuts..not so with a horse. Well not if you stay away from talking politics with the horse. Just polite conversation about the weather..nature and the road. Anything else and even the horse will think your nuts. 😉😁

You will never live free..if your life revolves around property or the ownership of something. One has too free themselves from the belief that you can't be happy unless you have this or that item. I left home when I was a very young lad and took to the road. I learned how to survive along the way. It's surprising what you don't need.

Agreed to a point but there are some very basic needs we can't do without such as food, shelter, warmth, water, clean air etc. For me these guys are an example of the simple life, not removed from society and it's high frequency operation but distant from it in search of a greater connection to the land, that which keeps us alive. If there was one thing people need to be free from it is the idea we can live a happy life separated from nature. Not sure I have met anyone who thought these guys were suggesting you needed anything materially in order to be happy, which is what I think your saying no?

@@whatsyourstory2404 no one is suggesting you don't eat..or protect yourselves from bad weather. As far as clean air..I agree..thing is, we are not in control of that. One can contribute to the goal if clean air..by the way we live our lives..bit the rest of the world has to agree and I can't see China or India, agreeing to tow the line about that one. The only way China would change its stance, if everyone stopped buying its cheap products..and I can't see that happening any time soon..can you ? I mean nor disrespect by that. I di believe though that there is hope on the horizon..though that horizon is some way off. Technology, I believe is the answer..and not wind turbines..as it takes around 400 tons of coal too make one turbine..and they have, I believe, about 25 years life span. So Technology is the answer for me. The air is much cleaner than when I was,a lad in the 50's. Choking smog caused by factory chimney's and every house burned coal, trains etc, burned coal etc. So things are changing..although slowly. So food warmth of course is essential..clean air is happening..but ever so slow.. but it will come. I will be long gone by then. As I said..I have hope for the future. Life on the road is an adventure..more people should get involved..even if for just a short time. At 71..I have had a lot of ups and downs..but looking back..what an adventure. I can honestly say..I don't look back and say..I wish I had done this or that...I did it all. I sound like Frank Sinatra...I did it my way. 😆 unlike Frank.. I do have some regrets.. but that's all a part of life.

Never met this couple. But they have changed mine and our families lives forever. It’s a strange feeling to be completely and utterly in love with two people who don’t even know we exist. Every decision we make now is a direct result of stumbling upon a couple who live differently to how we have been taught to live. They are truly, an inspiration. We are free now! Me, Bethany and all of our little Bees have literally just left Pembrokeshire, we have been there for a few weeks just travelling around educating the children. Such a wonderful place. We considered contacting Lammas to see if there was anything we could help with. Guess it was nerves that got the better of us 😊. He looks unkempt..but it's the suits that you have to watch..not people like this guy. He will not take your house off of you because you can't pay your mortgage or try to sell you a house at bloated prices..nor will rob you blind at the first chance. Cities and towns are crime ridden..why would anyone want to live like that, they don't..it is forced on them by 'normal ' society. God forbid. I mean, why not live in a house..in dept..and pay taxes so politicians can give themselves a bumper pay rise and fiddle their OTT expences ? Why listen to the MSM and social media..which is full of lies and propaganda..you don't know what fun you are missing young man. Just think of the stress you are missing and could be enjoying right now..like most of the working people of the UK..are enjoying. I lived on the road for some time but got sick of the rules and regulations which mostly amount to laws that limit your rights. I moved out and went abroad..I still live a simple life here in my new home, i am living in a countryside with no walled or fenced in fields..life is as difficult as you make it or is forced upon you by public servants. I used to think, when I was young, and stupid that politicians and the law..worked for the ordinary man/woman..how wrong I was..they work for themselves and the people who fund their careers...the wealthy and powerful. Also..much of the land..and beautiful countryside is privately owned and jealously guarded by the owners..and protected by politicians and the law.

There was a public wash house in Liverpool until 1995 , i dont think theres any any where now , the probation service and some homeless charities run some shower/laundry facilities but there all in the cities towns .
