The hidden scales!
Listen and learn from Harnoncourt!
The fourth movement is lovely, but the end of the third movement is simply divine!
The lemon is in play...
that's really so crazy when you see how much they had done, perfect.
felicitaciones....lindisimo sonodo alta trompeta y banda saludos buenos aires argentina....
Beautiful clarinet and flute playing!
Pianist was making it a little difficult to sing for him. She wasn't following him/in sync with him. On pieces like this, the pianist makes or breaks it.
Beautiful to see the development of playing and noble characteristics come through on Zander's instruction. Only one thing was off for me, the Israeli bombs comment struck me as very one-sided & simplistic. Especially given the massively destructive bombs being dropped on Palestinians right now & elides the 75 plus years of occupation and apartheid that is the context.
The first teacher you have is the most important one.
Beethoven brought the beauty of strong sounds to classical music. He used to press the keyboards so hard that the tension was getting bigger and bigger
Klaus
This is sure master peace who has live so long! True magic!
The speed should be set up to 0,75. Otherwise, it's way too fast.
hey super intelligence aliens, can you beat this?!?! 😂
Watch Mr. Zander's TED talk. You'll end crying
No teacher will ever share so much with a student. The recipients are blessed, being touched by this generous man.
So high brow

I know you came for 2:17.
That’s what you need to perform this music - a conductor! Tremendous, thanks so much!
Maravilloso!!
I have to say....This interpretation is unnatural: Schubert did not want to sing emotionally.
Why the hell do all the Boston youth orchestras copy the repertoire we literally played Mahler 5 three weeks ago
I have watched this video a dozen times and every time I’m moved to the depth of my soul. By Elgar’s unbelievably powerful forthright nobility, and his elegy for an era and a society he longed to represent and which the slaughter of the First World War proved to be hollow. Second by Zander’s ability to elicit such an equally powerful and deeply felt performance by such a young musician, a performance that shall follow me to my grave (at 88 that time approaches for me but this video has enriched my life, as have many other moments of transcendent beauty throughout the worlds of music, poetry, art and literature.
the maestro's interpretation classes are a deep treasure trove for me, and his coaching violin soloists is a special niche: so far i've watched 3 (bach g sonata, i, beethoven c'to, i, and this wieniawski fantasie) and in all of them maestro's special note for the soloist is asking the soloist to walk out in their entrance and literally connect with the audience, literally walk into the audience, start playing and make eye-contact, a thing violin soloists are uniquely able to do--just watching this coaching changes my playing as a pianist: i can't get up off the bench, but i can connect...
I love it.
a terrible teacher, at every forte he stands up and stomps around, not every forte needs espressivo.
❤
Nice song I play flute my self and I love planing magic flute
Eu toco flauta tbm!!☃️☃️☃️
Mediocre nothing special with zander
!
Very very good, and wonderful tempo
Beautiful
The allemande isnt about playing slowly with each note shining like a diamond. The allemande is a dance that is danced within a certain sized space. This piece is an example of bach playing the PERFORMANCE SPACE. The way he set this up is for the previous 4 notes to ring as a chord in the rooms natural reverb that sit underneith the next 4 notes played. Look no further than the Baroque and Traverso flute players to hear precisely how this piece should be played and what spaces it is played in.

Self admiration ? ?
To be honest these master classes confuse me. I would say I did not understand what the teachers mean . They talk talk talk and I do not get what they mean, because they do not say concrete techniques , in this self poetry style , the students are already doing fine. As for Bach he was the greatest improviser ever, all he did he wrote blueprints and leave the rest to the interpreter.
Superb, sublime musical work! Thank you.
Felicidades chicos!!🥰🥰🥰👏👏👏
You are terrific musicians. What a wonderful Orchestra. In my heart of hearts... I don't like Mahler's music. That's why, I know how great you are. The melodic line is crazy, but you are superb!!! P.S: Now I understand Jacqueline Du Pré... She did not like this composer at all.
Bravo
My, my! You have quite the gyatt! -Beatooveeeeen
You even spelled his name wrong...
Beautiful.
Amazing Orchestra.
Yes, the antidote to worry is beauty. I feel that Alexander has been learning too much and doing too little playing and think that it would help him tremendously if he could feel more in touch with the listener and with his desire to play the piece for/to them out of his wanting to share this joy. Love - and loving a piece of music - is not a private affair. (And now Ben is encouraging just that - I'm excited to hear what effect this will have on the cellist.) He's got it. Thanks Ben; thanks Alexander. Love.
!
Merci !!
