  Holy cow! I’m relatively new to this craft, and have made only half a dozen journals. I’ve learned so much from various maker’s tutorials and have made coffee, tea, onion skin, and avocado dyed papers. I have purchased more ephemera, inks, oxides, stamps, dies, paper, backgrounds, etc., and find myself overwhelmed with where to go and what to do with it all. I have tons of beads and jewelry making materials as that was my first love just before and after retirement when I found my fingers could no longer manage working with the tiny beads for jewelry and bead embroidery. So I found myself being drawn into the junk journaling craft and I just love it. However, as I said I struggle with making my journals cohesive and interesting. What you have done here is mind blowing and absolutely gorgeous. I’m sure, since this video is now 6-7 years old, that your journal sold in milliseconds. I have no way of knowing what you charged for it, the materials alone would add up to a significant sum plus the hours-days-weeks-months of hard work planning and assembly, but I hope it was a very substantial amount. I know what I would have been willing to pay! Congratulations on the most spectacular project I’ve seen yet after having watched hundreds of videos on this craft. Best wishes.

  Hey there, such kind words thankyou! Well, I don't enjoy asking for large sum of money but for this to be sustainable, yes I do have to charge a lot. Projects like this equate to months of work so the price has to reflect. It was one of my bigger projects. I appreciate your comments, thankyou and wish you a happy crafting journey too x

  Hi Jibid, - (17th May, 2024). I just discovered this video and was captured immediately as Gnossienne No.1 by Erik Satie is my absolute favourite piece of music. And then I was transported into the depth of the forrest that had lost it all, and then came back to life. If only all people who loose their way in life could have the second chance and "live" again. Thank you 😘😘

  This has to be one of the most stunning albums I've ever seen. I adore anything with a sea theme and this encompasses everything. I particularly love the wave edges of the pages, the beautiful inking and the different textures and stitching. Also, what a lovely piece of fabric you have used to put the book on while displaying it. The whole thing is a work of art. New subscriber!

  That's correct, you will usually get better contact because the face of the leaf has a flatter surface than the back (in most cases) :)

  Thank you for taking us along for this wonderful journey! I enjoyed this video so much, this was actually my second time watching it. You transported me to England, listening to those wonderful birds, that amazing bee that buzzed past you, just feeling like I was in an English garden. But obviously, watching all those wonderful papers get created was so incredibly inspiring! Don't sell yourself short though, while you might think that the process is super easy, I can tell you have a gentle touch to ensure all the leaves and inks are done just so to create that beautiful effect. That takes patience and attention to detail. Amazing work! Thanks!

  A beautiful journal and collection of flowers and leaves! paper you used for What is blessing paper that you used for the grass samples? A touch of feathers, birds and mushrooms just completes this journal. You don't often see the botanical information, so I appreciate that use. Thank you for sharing!
