Jibid, this journal is stunning! Absolutely beautiful! I am excited now to look back at some of your tutorials and see if I can make papers similar to yours. I was raised knowing John Muir’s name. My father loved camping and visiting our National and State Parks. When my husband and I visited San Francisco, we were taken to Muir Woods. It was certainly a highlight of our trip! I wish everyone could see the majestic, old Redwoods. You certainly remind me of how beautiful nature is in your journal and that I need to get out in it! Thank you for your art and your inspiration!

SInce I found your site this past week, I have been watching your videos nonstop....and repeated multiple times the woodland and Black Forest episodes so that I can take away ideas from your amazing creations to use in my personal journals. I love that you reference John Muir as I am familiar w/him because of Muir Woods, Yosemite, etc in California which is where I lived for a bit prior to coming to Germany. I just ordered your digital woodland kit (and freebies) and spent the weekend attempting to perform the plant dye/transfer..... I am in awe of every single page and artistic technique you use in the journals. It is incomprehensible the time, thought, and talent you have put into each detail. I love absolutely everything about that journal. Your books are always more than interesting arrangements, artistic layouts and a deep understanding of colour....the actual 'make-up' of each page is crafted by your own hand. They are exquisite....with such a personal attention to detail. The dyeing, the sewing, the choice of colours....the embellishments, carefully chosen quotes etc....so perfect in every way. I absolutely enjoy the books done with 'paper stacks' and access to fancy tools too....but I think that, because you create your own, it sets them apart. Such a beautiful creation. The recipient is one lucky person. =)

Another stunner. Not sure how you do it all, but this is the type of bookmaker I want to be when I grow up. I've not even been making journals a year yet but your work is so inspirational, glorious, emotion moving and at some point I have to own your work for myself. Truly again museum quality, horticulturist work. The quotes are incredible, love that fold out so very, very much.

Thank you again for sharing your amazing creativity with us! Sometimes I actually feel sad (and a bit frozen or afraid to continue my efforts at learning and making journals) when I see each new journal of yours and it’s even better and more creative and more thoughtful than the last because I have a feeling that I will never measure up to you ( please don’t let that make you sad because I do so enjoy your videos) so now I am just telling myself that we can’t all be masters so just be the best I personally can be! You are the master and I know tons of us so appreciate your sharing! I’ve ordered some spray inks and can’t wait until they arrive because ever since your tutorial I’ve been so excited to try making some beautiful papers!! I grew up in California and lived for a bit in the Sierra Nevada mountain range and we were taught about John Muir in school and there is John Muir state park and monuments all over so at least the Americans from the West Coast will know of him very well. Sorry for rambling! Thanks again! Best of everything to you! If you ever want to visit Colorado I have a nice private guest suite right next to my craft room! It’s all yours!

Jibid Neary well the offer remains open! I grew up very poor but am now blessed to live (alone) in a very nice home in a very beautiful area. I lived in Oxford for a year and have had several British friends visit..also I’m on a golf course so if you or your husband play that could be good! Use my home as a home base for your trip any time.. the big BUT is I don’t cook! You’d have to do that yourself! I know you don’t know me but I’m nice and I can tell you are too.🙂🙃

Jibid Neary...Love your work so much! And your kind and calm videos. Wish I could still get a journal made by you..just waited for Amity Bloom kits..minute by minute and still missed out..and I pay for her teachable classes. I know that it is not her fault but I can't seem to make it in time to purchase anything. Sigh. At least you and Nik The Booksmith are still accessible. I have purchased 2 of Niks journals and teachable classes. Funny how even online purchases seem stressful these days, everything seems stressful and inaccessible. But your journals and tutorials are so inspiring. So Inspring. I want to make my husband a woodland journal like the ones you make. Please forgive my grousing... Just having a hard time and can't even seem to get online fast enough. Lol! I must live too close to the 405 freeway in LA..it's affecting my perspective!! Please continue with your videos.
