Hello... Is there a way to animate a lathe in Inventor? Specifically, I'd like to animate the threading of a metal cylinder. Thanks!

NEW SUBSCRIBER: Thank you soo much for your help. Question on the mates and fully defining them. How would you know if your assembly was fully defined? Like in SolidWorks, you get the message that your assy is fully defined. I dont see that here on NX and on a very large assy, that could be crazy if I have to select every part to see if it moves. Thanks in advance 🙏
Can you do a tutorial on worm gear with dynamic simulation I am getting errors while trying to implement
"worm gear tutorial" press and use defaults - useless
Great video! clear concise and easy to follow. I am having one issue with the process. When attempting to place my view I get the error message "Virtual intersections are incompatible with perspective viewing. To proceed with a perspective view, turn off virtual intersections. to proceed with a virtual intersections view, turn off perspective." Any idea on how I can fix this issue?
hi,guy, you video very best, how I can get this wind tunnel model ?
you should put the solidworks file of the vertical axis wind turbine
Do you know how to convert text by plane from body import by .xt file to text in line?
How to add Design module ?

A little late to the party, but I do have a question if you're still following this... Followed your tute as to-the-letter as I could. I've encountered two problems. 1) The wires/ball combo will not constrain to those horizontal axes the way they do in your video. It will snap to one, but it remains parallel to the suspending bars. It will not swing over 90 degrees to meet the second horizontal axis -- if that makes sense. And, I get a conflicting constraint error message. I remodeled the sphere/wires part, but the same thing happened -- AND -- this second time, the sphere is ghosted, and I've not been able to determine why. 2) I could not get the offset planes to work either. Whenever I input + or -1.5in, the offset plane would appear, but clicking on the green check mark made it disappear. Instead, I put in construction lines to act as snapping constraints. Thanks.
Thank you!!
Really helpful tutorial. Thanks!
Same process make a video for cam
Hi, are we able to make a set of more than 2 gears at the same time?
Thank you! Really straight forward and easy to understand.
Thank you very much for the really instructive video 🙂
Thank you so much for this tutorial !!
Very clear and useful video learned a lot and gained so much new insight thank you
Very helpful 🎉
Excellent tutorial.
I moved the component,.trying to reposition of its own position. Is there any way to do that? Other than undo
You are the best
great idea but it stops working all the time. I cannot locate the app to pin it either. It will start working if I run the downloaded file again but only for a short time. Any tips? Thanks
Please what is the name of the component?
I like the video! I was looking for using reference method. Say I have 5 holes, and I use the Fastner for 3 of them set at flushed with the surface, but two of them are offset by .100, because something else is going under the head of the fastner. So I delete the two, and use the same type fastner for offsetting it, that is not part of the pattern components, is this the best method?
Excellent explanation of what you are doing and why you are doing it at every stage. Thank you.
Not a point load
Excellent! Thank you.
hmm good tutorial, however the gear ratio seems to be incorrect. This isnt accurate for how it would function realistically
Really good information on solidworks meshing thanks!
How do you make the exploded and unexplored views animated by a press of a button (ex- creo parametric)
thanks for nothing
Can you make adaptiivinen pullspring tutorial
nice job!!
I'm trying to find a technique whereby I can do a motion study, then do a flow sim (full re-mesh each run) at each motion 'snap-shot' time instant. This should be do-able to flow sim of more complex moving geometries. Any suggestions?
Face<1> is out of the computational domain pls help
I have the same issue did u figure it out?
Well nice, thanks for demo. Pretty good!
Hello, thanks for your video on Dynamic Simulation. Found it easy to follow and now have a new interest in Dynamics. I'm currently working on a design of a crane which has a simple moving load along a monorail and would like to work out how to do this in Dynamic Simulation. I have an Inventor 2022 model already drawn which I can send if you wish. Would greatly appreciate your feedback, would it be possible to get in touch.
Very helpful to me
Any chance you still have the plans?
metric units
If you're looking to make a good design for a Wind turbine. Look at a black hole. tornado hurricane Whirlpool. All the same design and they all have the ability to Consume massive amounts of energy.
Really great tutorials on this channel, very helpful.
Super !
How can I chang meshcolour please?
Nice sir
The audio volume jumping all over the place makes this video hard to consume.
next lecture comming soon sir
