    Call 1.800.Xfinity follow prompts until you are able to speak to the automated system and say you are disabled. It will route you to a human quickly.

    I hear you sir, it is the most aggravating and ridiculous customer service IVR of all. Waste of time and money, they charge so much. After I placed an appointment for a Technician to come fix the issue. Someone called to try to help fix the issue over the phone when I have already tried with a couple of reps before and couldn’t do it. I was not sure if it was a legit call from Comcast or not, number started with 855 vs 800 or 888.

    They are so worthless. I dread anytime i need a new phone or have to contact them. It literally takes days or weeks to resolve and issue. Im not even kidding. My daughter has been without a phone for 4 days and she is a manager. She needs her phone. They dont know how to reactivate her phone since the new one does not work or activate either. We feel so defeated and FRUSTRATED

    Well to the smart ass you obviously work for the thieves. Either that or don't use the rouge company. I think and I wonder if the government I'd aware of the fraudulent billing to acp? It's evety month they change the plans bill what they want double bill . Then get this the agents are taught to bullshit you. They give credit and it's not applied. They are charging 3 times yhs rate quoted. They just keep taking money. I .an investigation needs to take place. I'm seriously saying they are defrauding their customers and the government

    Trust me guys i am working in xfinity internet billing department & its worstest for customers tbh, never ever use internet from xfinity, they’ll increase the bill all of sudden without informing the customer, you’d sign up the contract for something else & after 2-3 months, boom your price went up & when you gonna call us we eventually have to mention that it was already notified in the bill in green letter. Yes xfinity do inform but that is wrong. If customers have subscribed for a certain price for certain months or years it should be same. Wtf is discount was there on bill only for 3 months but you’re on 2 years of contract thats all bullshit. I would really apologise to everyone for bad customer service but trust me guys if we doesn’t follow what they’re saying they’ll kick us off from out job, just for save our job & get some money we’re doing thia

    When I put the password in for my phone internet it doesn't work. Only if I pay 20 a month for Connect can I use it for my phone and laptop. This is a class action lawsuit if they subject to the law . I'd like to end this wicked greedy crap and God will bring justice if we cant get it in this hell .❤😂🎉

    What I would suggest that has worked for me is, once the IVR finishes talking just say "Speak to an Agent" then it'll give a few more options then hit it with another "Speak to an Agent" it has personally worked for me a few times, try it out.

    Sir you just have to say that you want to speak to a customer service representative on call or on chat .....and if you are not able to get a voice agent you can also ask the chat agent to arrange a call for you and he will get a call within one minute And as you are educated and can login to Xfinity application or on website ...you can see that there are several option to talk or chat with an agent 😅

    Anyone who is going through this painful experience, must STOP talking with these Reps. I let Xfinity get the best of me, until I contacted the FCC and filed a complaint against them.     I had been trying to cancel mine for days when my mom heard and called for me. Idk of it mattered that she asked for a spanish speaking representative. But 14 minutes later, my service was canceled. So maybe aske a spanish peaking friend.

    After years with Xfinity I finally had enough of their sh!tty customer service. I went with T-Mobile home internet, a vast improvement! Whenever I get a discount offer to come back to Xfinity it is immediately deleted.

    I finally got to a live person! I'm not a customer, someone used my card number online for $400 in January, along with several other charges before I / we caught them and canceled the card that was still in my possession. My CC company reversed several charges, but this one filtered in after the card was canceled. My CC company, for some reason 'forgot' about 2 charges; I made them specifically indicate that they received my complaint..again I spoke to Infinity CSR, as I don't want this scum to (keep) getting away with this. Of course, since I'm NOT a customer, even with my billing reference number, they can't / won't do anything, other than tell me to go through my CC company, What kind of a 'high-tech' company couldn't use / link this number and find the SOB that (de)frauded THEM? $400.00 dollars is real money to me, plus the principal of it. (I would not waste this much time, if it was $40.00) --Old man rant off.

    I have been working in comcast since 6 months in chat support..I feel that how we deal with a customer is very weird, Americans are more dependent on others..we are also human beings…if your internet stops working suddenly we are here to help you get it fixed, sometimes customers have collections block due to previous dues on their account and they keep saying that it is our fault their services are disconnected..bro check your billing history…they think that we are the ones who should pay their bills instead..also Americans are so dumb…also when there is an address which is eligible to get self-installed (meaning the customer can install the services themselves) they still want a technician to come and install it..yes we do understand that sometimes a tech visit can be a great choice however when we say about the charges for the technician in a self install eligible address.. they don’t want to pay for it

    In my area they are in competition with Verizon FIOS, I abandoned Comcast years ago for FIOS, and haven't regretted it once. Most perfect example was line issues. Had a line issue with Xfinity and it took them a week to get out to fix it along with being threatened with extra fees as the rep was insistent it was probably my equipment (I have 15+ years IT experience at that time, by the time I am calling them it is NOT my equipment). After I flip, after some years had a line issue with Verizon.... they had someone out the next morning ( and a Saturday morning at that) to put in an emergency line, with an order later to bury. Additionally I made a career shift to TA/HR. and hired for a BPO that had a Comcast contract for handing Customer Service. The most important metric they put on their C/S agents is sales quotas..... you got that right, the people who have to receive calls and handle customer issues are REQUIRED by Comcast to meet sales quotas in order to retain their jobs. So if you ever wonder why when you call with an issue and they spend more time trying to push additional services on you... that is it right there. They HAVE to in order to keep their job. They also pay shit for it.

    As a former customer service respresentative, I deeply sympathize with our customers who need to go through this every single time they need to call us. I respect those who remain calm and composed when addressing their concerns despite of what they have been through. To those who are aggravated on set of the call, we understand where you are coming from, but to those who are condescending, racists, and rude - I hope that you guys should also understand that we are human beings. We have to deal with frustrated customers eight hours a day and absorb all of their problems and complaints… Let us share kindness and positivity to everyone because we have no idea what everyone has to go through just to survive every single day.

    I spend 3 hours yesterday trying to resolve a problem with them. The only way you can see your network and make changes is to use Xfinity app, my those not work. Call them and when to the same BS you did. Call to cancel the service and a human finally. He could not solve my problem and transfer me to a technician. Five technicians later the app still not working but the last guy ant to know if I want to add COMCAST cellphone service to my account. I ask him if he was stupid? Is to late people in most areas they are a monopoly and you have no rights to go against them.

    I had the same exp about an year ago when trying to close my internet. It's very difficult to reach these guys when there is a problem or you want something that's not available on their website. They have a monopoly here in Seattle, I hope competition catches up quickly & I can switch...

    This has happened to me many times. Once you are connected to a rep, they are in the Philipines. They are quite polite but not helpful. And why are those jobs not in the United States???

    Hi, I am from the PH and I was a former customer service respresentative. I am sorry if some of the agents gou talked to were not helpul. We follow strict guidelines and procedures mandated by the management and unfortunately, we have no choice but to follow and comply with it. I also want to tell you, that not all Filipinos don’t know the process or weren’t helpful at all. I know a lot of customers who leave positive feedback and commendation to Filipino agents because they were smart, resourceful, and compassionate. Let’s just not generalize people based on where they’re from because even if most of the Americans I dealt with were rude and condescending, there were handful of them that were really patient, calm, and polite.

    To answer your question, why these jobs are not from the US, that’s because of business purposes. These US companies outsource and hire people from India and Philippines for cost cutting. Salary is lower in these countries. I hope this answers your question.

    @@davejannaragon8715 I have nothing against Filipinos. I have good Filipino friends. They give me the best ice cream I’ve ever had. But look, let’s not get woke here. If you call Xfinity Comcast 9 out 10 times, it will be a Filipino. Usually very nice. But don’t resolve issues. That’s my experience. I am Cuban. I criticize customer service in real life in South Florida because most Cubans, not all, are rude and not professional. It’s not about ethnicity or any of that. It’s about the fact that Xfinity comcast should have call centers here. Costs a little more? Well, they are not giving any of their services away. Charity begins at home.

The second part of my point was about jobs. Most Call Center jobs are gone in the United States. It should not be like that. We have a diverse, flexible workforce here to fill those jobs.
