  It's a shame that they gave up some of the water resistance rating. Why not WR20 but WR10? 😢 but I think it's a very good watch because the weight was drastically reduced.

  While I don't like how difficult it is to turn the bezel or screw the crown on this watch or the kamasu I now trying to sell it I will probably lose half of what I paid for it.

  Honestly just buy the 44mm ecodrive diver instead of this 37mm diver and you will be happy. That 44mm fits like a 41mm on the wrist and i now understand why citizen did not come out with a 40mm size because that 44mm size works absolutely fine for almost all male wrist sizes small or large. I would suggest you get one for a review and try it out yourself. just try the 44mm.

  I had the bigger ecodrive version and I could never connect with that one, mostly because of the date at 4 like you pointed out. It drove me crazy every time I looked at it. The automatic is just beautiful and probably the last proper Japanese tool watch. I especially liked the deep black glossy dial, at some angles is like it's a deep back pool. Ended up selling it too because of the noisy rotor but especially because I hated to set the day and date every time. There used to exist a quartz version of the ny0040 but with a crown at 3 that I only saw in small numbers over at Italian sellers. As usual I thought too much about it and when I decided to get one they were all gone.

  Have had the 8203 blue dial for 4 years. It's so accurate, solidly built and reliable. Gains only 5s per day. 8203 doesn't hack but that's what gives it character in my opinion. I've put on a solid link, milled clasp, jubilee bracelet bought from Mark Long Island Watches and it has truly transformed it. The value these watches offer is unbeatable. They look great and like no other diver, are ISO certified and have great history with the Italian military. This and maybe a square G shock 5610 is all the watch anyone ever really needs.

  Excellent review. This baby g is ideal for my wife and people that like the F-91W which has never appealed to me. This would be a great one watch for a smaller digital Casio enthusiast. The plastics will be way better, the depth rating is way better and it just looks right.

  Thank u so much for the review! I have tried the G-Shock DW5600BCE-1 but didn’t like the fit. I feel the size a little too big and bulky on my small wrist. I’m glad that I found your review video now. Because I have looked everywhere but I couldn’t see anyone else really review the Baby G-Shock of this model. I have a question for the Baby G-Shock that u reviewed. Where did u buy it? I could not find it available on Casio US official website. I found some available on EBay but not sure if they are authentic or not.

  Being a male myself, I currently have three Baby-Gs and two G-Shock minis. I have a custom g-shock mini with a solid 925 silver bezel, buckle, and keeper that has prongset diamonds from Japan. I love them! The only large G-Shocks I don't mind is the 'square' and the relatively new GBD200 with the new modern display (I love this one).

  23 years ago 36.5 mm was considered big for men. I have an eco drive that’s 23 years old and still going strong and it’s 36mm. Everyone at the time marveled at the big size. lol.

  The 44mm version has 30mm dial diameter (apart from the bezel) which itself is tiny. Wonder what this watch's dial size excluding the bezel

  Put it near a window and wait around 7 hours. I think that should be good for around 5-6 months

  The music is definitely loud thanks the microphone of my iPhone. In the store itself it is not as loud as in the video: if that makes sense 🤣 I haven’t been to those places so I can’t comment on that lol!

  That’s a close contest, it’s the bracelet that lets the Omega sown plus it’s too big, so by default I’d have to go with the Tudor.
