    If I may ask what’s the idea to a belt squat over a back squat? Curious because I might add them in as I tend to skip upper body and do squats most of the time lol. Before any ask why it’s because my job is hard on my body in the upper body region so I’m always fatigued.

    honestly making sure my secondary squat variations are relatively similar to my primary squats(making sure bracing is the same, making sure bar path is similar, feet placement) is prob where i saw the biggest growth on squats in such a short amount of time.

    Heyy I do have a question regarding my squat grip as I am receiving mixed answers. Is hook grip allowed during squats as per ipf? hook grip really helps me solving the problem of my palms opening up while heavy squatting .

    @@johnnykaufman5054 yes I tried it as a joke because I was disqualified from a meet for failing all my Squat due to my hands opening up during the lift. So I tried it and it solved that problem and now I really like hook grip on Squat as the interlocking between thumbs and fingers prevent my hands from opening. 🙄🙄
