I bought mine off Amazon and one of the reviews said that most bubble tea shops tweak the sweetness and amount of powder based on their own preferences. Might be why there's no specific amounts. Not sure why additional fructose is needed when the bubble tea powder is already sweetened though? That might also be a tastes/texture thing, though, I don't know.
@bananaers14 жыл бұрын
For a company supposedly based in the US you rly should think about doing US conversion measurement. People in the kitchen don’t measure stuff by ounces. Or don’t sell to non-businesses. I am also not at all happy by the fact that 1. It not already sweetened (as I thought by 3-in-1). 2. You don’t even have directions written on the package like a normal company would. 3. The video you direct us to doesn’t even have clear measurements. I will be ordering my bubble tea powers elsewhere next time. Sheesh.
@adrianwinchell85984 жыл бұрын
Ounces is a US measurement, esp in drinks/bartending. 1 oz is 1/8th cup, or 2 tbsp. If it was a non-US measurement, it'd be in milliliters or grams.
@bananaers14 жыл бұрын
@@adrianwinchell8598 I don't know anybody that uses ounces in a home kitchen, which is what a majority of these people are buying the powders for. Also, I have never seen 1/8th of a cup. However, if they had listed 2 tbsp of powder, per however many oz or cups water, IN THE VIDEO, fewer people would be complaining. This video is worthless. TBH... the directions should have been on the packaging, to begin with.

It's poor customer service. I shouldn't have to go on a scavenger hunt. And the directions are just an lesson in eyeballing the ingredients. I received 2 flavors as a gift and was excited about this...until I found the "directions" on how to make it. That sticker attached on the bag with the nutritional facts on it could accommodate the directions on how to make the drink.

Quick directions from a regular user: - You do not technically need tea with the 3 in 1 powder, it is designed to be used simply with hot water. Though if you want a more robust tea flavor add tea, as the powder itself doesn't have a strong tea flavor. - A 1/4 cup of powder per 1 cup of water/tea is a good ratio - If you are going to add extra milk be careful as generally more than just a splash will overwhelm the tea.
