It blows my mind that EVERY single leatherman doesn't have spring loaded pliers. I use mine a lot at work and i love it. I wont buy any of the higher end styles becaus3 they don't have a spring.
I edc one of these. My wife finally upgraded me from my wave of over 15 years last Christmas. The shears are amazing, great grip strength and usability on the pliers, and feels good in hand when using the saw, can opener, or other tools. Yes, its heavy. But I love that, I have a fairly heavy EDC, so it doesn't bother me on my hip, but yep. King.
Wave +, I wish I got that exact same charge G10. If so I would EDC it
I carry my arc every day, love the thing
Nice choice

Dont forget to buy t-shank blades for it. longer for wood and for metal. the default saw is not enough aggresive for wet, live wood.
Surge is still a king when U really need bigger and stronger. I have that gen2 Surge. Bought that minibitdriver from Ebay and changed that smaller flat driver for that. Need to grind maybe 2mm off to get tool close completely. I just dont understand where do U need that smaller flat because U allready have that normal bitdriver with about same size flat bit on that..Gen1 has that minibit but gen2 doesnt. Anyways Surge is not my EDC. Too big and heavy for my taste. ARC and Charge tti+ are my choise for EDC.
I think the arc is a very good tool with everything incorporated, I think it’s a little pricey but then again what would you give for a pocket knife with magnacut, totally agree the T shank adaptor is a game changer, my view, I’d stick with my surge as I use it heavily day in day out and I’d be scared to scratch the arc 😂
I can’t lie I’m really controversial I love the leatherman Arc but that’s just me it’s got all the tools and more that I need
Leatherman have made a fancy one there but it’s like a toy. I would like some usable tools for on site work eg a stanley blade holder.. a jab saw , standard bit holder built in .. useful allen keys built in hammer end/Chisel /nail puller /magnet to detect screws in drywall bradawl for marking accurate points and finally a built in laser level, torch. If leatherman don’t raise their game and make something like that the Chinese will sooner or later. Innovation and quality is key in this tool category. As for knipex they are properly made and designed tools . And yes I would like a small circular saw built in too but that’s just a dream…😅
if knipex made a multitool game over for leatherman.
I just ordered one for Prime day. I haven't seen it yet so it's nice to see a review on it.

I have not done so yet,but I put the wire is supposed to go,also,a fellow KZreadr taught me something, not all coat hanger wire is made the same either, this also if qc did poor heat treatment or bad source of steel, could be multiple things, not just the gap,if you what I'm saying,I'm not saying not to switch the cutters to close the gap,but I've not had any issues with my Arc since December,I love it to pieces as it is so far,I may add a T-shank adapter to it
👌😂

I have a small lawn route and I have all Stihl 4Mix commercial equipment that cranks every day without thought. I would NOT trade my 131 Kombi, FS111,110,91 or 90 for anything made, bar none. My question is about the 56. I have five to fix for a friend that are all ethanol gummed carbs. I’m very familiar with the rebuilds and “China” carburetors. I ordered the rebuild kits and will run the carbs through my Ultrasonic and rebuild them. I started on the first one and it STARR’s but not in a repeatable pattern like my 4Mix. I’ve seen a ton of videos on starting them, many are different. On the 56 - Should I choke, and lock the throttle and pull until it cranks? I think sometimes it floods before cranking. It never “burps” like commercial which is the sign to take it off choke. The burp or fire simply says it has enough fuel to crank so be careful! I’m just looking for a pattern of any type for cranking residential (gray housing) trimmers in the future. Thanks for any insights you have to offer. My chainsaws (021,391,461) also crank in a pattern even though I have a residential (021) prosumer (391) and pro (461). They’re all the same. There is no primer/purge bulb to mess it up. I’m guessing the primer/purge bulb is my issue. I NEVER have to push that bulb more than twice on 4Mix. (And the unit must have been sitting over a week or more or I never push the bulb) I hope I didn’t confuse you. Thanks again for any help.
These older Tacomas are great simple trucks. I have a 2015 six speed manual 4x4 (last year of the 2nd gen). I bought it new and plan on keeping it for a long time. I spray the frame with Fluid Film once a year and do all my own routine maintenance.
Awesome! They are great. Do you still wash it in winter or just let fluid fil’ do it things?
@@appleztooranges No, I don't wash it over the winter. Just a thick coat of FF at the end of each summer then wash it all off the end of the next summer, let the frame dry, and reapply. My frame is nearly pristine. I do live in the PNW of Canada however so YMMV.

i wouldn't use a pressure washer it can force water into something where it ain't supposed to be like the air cleaner and the muffler and can work its way into where the oil is stuff like that and can destroy and rust up the engine and its parts including knocking off the rest of the paint where its rusting, i use just a regular low pressured garden hose and soap to clean my honda deck and gently rinse it off

You should change the oil by looking at the mileage and also the date . You don’t want one year old oil in your car . Oils cheap engines aren’t.
@@marklloyd4153 true. My dealer said wait one year. But I think you’re right. They will change it for free
