Was gonna wait to dry, but will be crusted anyway. I wish i could break up clumps in between rows. Maybe if possible could install round shields w spikes in between row to help break clumps

We’ve found that we get a more robust corn plant when we plant into the green rye. The population of the biota in the soil is at such a level that when the corn plant germinates, that biota just flocks to those root hairs and helps feed that crop…then we terminate the rye We would take the previous corn crop off as silage. We’d plant the rye about a month after the field has been empty (due to work load, that’s the earliest we were able to get to it). The rye would take all the compaction that the trucks caused out over winter. The soil was so ‘mellow’ the following spring that deep til wasn’t necessary.

I Love your energy level and what you are trying to achieve ! I started gardening at age 57 ,now retired and full time expanded gardener at age 67. Don't have room to rotate crops sadly so we bring mushroom farm spent compost in yearly and our own compost ! Good results so far but my potato field especially has so much clay and rock it produces but is back breaking work! I put first cover crop of winter rye from our farm feed store last fall! It kept the weeds away for the first time ever ! I brush hogged it this spring and let it dry and tilled it in! I am thinking of trying to fold it over and cover it and plant right in it instead of tilling next fall! You mentioned you can't use Brasica on your land ! Curious as to why not ! I just heard it was a good.crop to fold in and would improve soil . We were going to use it in my wife's garlic area! She has some white rot in that soil! Good luck! Thanks for your videos!

Nice video. I wish you were my neighbor. As the GMO corn farmer destroys my organic farm. Hiring his friends to come spray me every year. Positive test results off the window on my house and the food numerous times. But that’s Kansas for you no protection for the citizens. Chemical companies moving to our area buying everything because they’re being banned around the world. Sad day for the organic grower in America.

My sheriff escorts the sprayer to destroy my organic farm. My channels been documenting it for five years. Our food is banned in 30 countries the chemicals they use and 65 and climbing. The farmers will slaughter your animals your home you’ve had for 30 years. I can’t even stay at my own home. Causes massive inflammation in my legs and my feet to curl. You have to drag yourself up the stairs. Last about three weeks. They spray my farm every single year now. Positive test results from the department of agriculture. The government banning chemicals because of this reason, but they just re-label it. Being poisoned by Americans.

Quebec is somewhat (too) far away to come over and have a close look to your equipment, but I do agree for 100% with your "exposé" on the efficiency of the equipment you use. I envy in particular your small compost of manure spreader. I wish I could copy from Mr James Potter a charm allowing me to "diagon-ally" it 5000 miles east as to have it landed in my garden... Between using a no till method of gardening with raw tree mulch and currently reading Dirt to Soil by Gabe Brown, I cringe in pain for the soil when I see something like this or drive around farm country. But, life is trial and error. If I was trying to make a living at this, I wouldn't have much time Monday Morning Quarterbacks.

I had a crop duster spray my home repeatedly. After we had discussed this issue and it was not remedied, I called the regulators they tested my premises and found it was above allowed levels of drift. The crop dusting company was fined. So, for years this guy has been harassing me by flying over and buzzing my house when he is going anywhere remotely close to my home. I have seen him let off spray in the air above my home when he was passing by. Now I am having health problems. Family is brainwashed, tells me oh well thats just life here in the agricultural area. Comes with the territory. My life is in shambles. Over 25k in medical testing. Family issues, kids have to be trapped inside all the time due to spraying and my health is not dependable so that effects my ability to earn an income. This is not just.
