    AMAZING STEP BY STEP I used this for my WE TECH GBB SCAR-L. If anybody else has this, yes, it is the same construction except the chamber is bolted into the guide and has thread locker on all the screws. Don't mind the thread locker, just get the pieces all off of the guide but leave the spring in, only undo the pin to install the NPAS. This will let you keep the back of the spring in on the SCAR (its completely shut off and the spring length is uneven) and slide the black chamber back and re-pin the spring without needing needle nose pliers or any guesswork.

    Literally showed nothing about actually adjusting it, just showed a tool you made😅 thanks anyway though.

    Theres alot different. The auto sear the 3rd hole for it the hammer has a hook and the trigger has a extta cut out. Theres a bunch differnt plus alot of bcg been hacked so most dont have full auto bolts unless they bought them but yeah alot think just throw a part in and ypur ready nope lol.

    What is 1087N in real weight? That's 244 pounds. If the original truss weighed 110g then that is a ratio of about 1000:1 which is very good. When I first saw the thumbnail I could see that there were a lot of elements in the truss that weren't necessary to carry loads, meaning they are zero force or close to zero force elements. If they were eliminated, or better yet moved into the main chords, the truss would have been much stronger. However due to limitations of using short sticks for construction it was necessary to have joints in the compression chords and the additional elements served to brace the joints. We did similar contests in college but using balsa wood and epoxy. I built one that weighed 35g and carried 285 pounds for a ratio of 3700 which shows the difference in strength to weight of balsa wood. Plus we were able to use longer pieces of material so it was not necessary to provide additional web members to brace joints. This reduced the weight of my truss.

    Hmmmm ... I thought Truss Bridges were designed to take/support loads from the top vs. a suspended load attached to a single connecting point at the bottom. That is if people/vehicles travelling across or travelling gantry was attached to the bottom the load they apply could be anywhere and moving.

  • @joeshumo9457
    @joeshumo9457 Жыл бұрын

    Yeah. Cause bridge spans are apparently designed to carry all of the load from the bottom.

    I would have thought the winner would be the bridge that failed closest to its calculated failure point , thereby showing the students knew exactly what they were doing .

    The reason we cant build pyramids now is at this age, this modern engineer was playing legos for 5 years, while mason 1000 years ago can learn this in 1 month.

    If you lama ate the prices into one single 3” arch for that distance it would be about 5/8 wide and 3/4 inch thick and stronger than what they have now

    I dont know if you still read comments, or if anyone can help me out. I bought a WE Xm177 a few weeks ago. Alongside one of these Npas kits for WE open bolts. I have a little trouble trying to adjust my fps to go more low. And I'm really frustrated and a little scared because I hope I just didn't spend my money on something that wont work. If you or someone can help me, it would be great

    This reminded me of a bridge I built out of balsa wood and glue in high school AP physics class. We ran out of weight objects(which were being placed in a 5 gallon bucket) and the bridge didn't break. I used the Roman arch principle as inspiration for design and placed arches along outer edges on both sides and in between the two outer rows perpendicular to them.

    So that’s not a big deal, it doesn’t mean a bridge of real size of that particular model will do the same thing. Also, it doesn’t mean the guy will become an amazing engineer or architect not to mention that NZ is not known for churning out architects etc... They just play rugby and do HAKA dances.

    Practically, the point load experiment would be less useful on a truss, that has been conceived to hold a distributed load, along the span. Nevertheless, an excellent example to make idiots understand why less is more.

    I designed and built a bridge which can hold a 400kg ride on mower . It consists of two 10 by 1 1/2 planks . It took me 5 miinutes to dedign and 1/2 hour to construct . I never went to engineering school . I just FUCKING DO IT !!

    Wonder if there was an advantage by the middle of the bridge is offset. I think there was some, imagine an extreme case when the load is 1 cm away from the side post.
