2:40 is he saying "As written" here? like in chakobsa i mean

The Fremen aren't really OP, the Sardaukar are used to slow, calculated combat because the whole galaxy has been using shields for hundreds of years. Because shields make the worms go crazy, Arrakis is basically the only place in the universe where you can't use them. So Sardaukar have never fought or even trained for enemies like the Fremen, because they have really never had to protect themselves while fighting.

Effin love this scene and though as a whole i adore this film, (it's legit my new favorite movie of all time), however - this battle was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too short! It was so short that they legit coulda doubled the length of it and it wouldn't have extended the overall length to any noticeable amount! Like, we didn't even get to see Paul in the battle - legit the only actually melee combat is a short, (while brilliantly filmed), one-take with Chani, and an equally as long battle for Arrakeen with Gurney against the Harkonnen. The more times i watch this, the more I'm convinced that this was a major missed opportunity. I'm not calling for somethin like the Battle of the Pelennor Fields from "Return of The King" or anything, just an extra 3 or 4 minutes of combat woulda been much appreciated and woulda made the final that much more amazing imo. Still though, it was certainly an awesome scene regardless.

The Emperor may be a gpod at the politic game, but in warfare he made several mistakes here. He rushed to War without collecting Info first. He landed in a open position and demonstareded his army as a tool of power, rather seekimg a more favorable position. And the worst part: He overestimated his Sardukar and underatsimated his opponent. Most of the time you do that, you lose.
@grailness10854 күн бұрын
The Emperor actually had the advantage. Without Paul's prescience the Fremen did not have great odds at winning the war but even if they could win without the prescience, Paul would have much less Fremen to fight with against the other great houses. His plan to defeat the Emperor was flawless, him getting stabbed by Feyd during the duel may have been intentional to show his Fremen followers the strength of the Lisan al Gaib. His path was to ensure that he legitimately became Emperor with his duel against Feyd-Rautha and that he would have as many Fremen as possible to fight for him in the Jihad instead of wasting them in a prolonged battle with prepared Sardaukar and Harkonnen forces. Sardaukar have not been bested in 10,000 years and had the longest running reputation of any fighting force in the known universe, even longer than the Fremen. As time went on, the Sardaukar overestimated themselves due to being unrivaled and became weaker as a result of no formidable competition.
