Steak isn’t cooked on the plate in the oven.. steak is cooked separately, and then put onto a plate that had been staged in the oven prior (purely for visuals) bro had a perfect steak, and then overcooked it 😂🤦🏻♂️

if you are a beginner to making steak and dont want to do of parasites then cook steak on medium or low so that the inside actually gets cooked without the outside burning

this is absolutely false, i work in a restaurant, if that steak is not medium rare like you ordered, you send it back, yes it might back things up, but the satisfaction of knowing that every customer is fed and is happy with their meal is a better feeling, than sending shit out of the window with out a care in the world.

Hi Senpai Kai! Offshooting from another comment I wrote in a reply chain but just wanted to say that if you have not already, it may be a good idea to email those brands via their respective departments in your local area to see if you can get a response. Or see if there’s a food pantry that can help contact them more directly

Nonsense. Lurpak one of the best tasting best selling butters is light in colour, Some of the best Normandy butter is pale in colour . In fact most of the more expensive European butters aren't yellow they're pale cream in colour.

Double sear is the way to go, I started doing this specifically because I don’t bring my steaks to room temp before I pan fry them and I tend to cook two steaks at a time so I have enough time to bring my pan back up to temp and sear the second steak while the first is resting.

I feel you man, my dad died at 56 (I have lived without him for a year so I’ve had time for it to set in) and if you feel tense and uneasy about it now and you’re still like “what the hell just happened?” Don’t worry just try to focus on the happy things, remember playing with him or going fishing or just times when you had some quality time with him. It really helps.
