Hey mate. We haven’t tried them ourselves but all reports say they are full of small bones and don’t taste great. Our reels are a mix. Baxter and Steve use Shimano bait casters and Marc uses a spin reel. For the floats we use shorter rods similar to the Shimano “Raider Dash” rod.

We put the boat in at Moreton telegraph station bridge and pulled it out at Billy’s lagoon 👍

What an epic 12 day journey you lads had! Toga parties, drove across the Jardine without any troubles, Wenlock River cruise, log jams, cracking session on the Bazz, few stacks n hacks along the way. But poor old Baxter in his white shirt took the cake, poor bloke looked like a beaten orphan asking for more porridge! Turns out, WeetBix n water tastes pretty much the same! Great stuff guys, killed it!
Summed it up perfectly mate!!! Haha we tried to get him to cut his sleeves off to at least look respectable 😂😂😂
That would have required responsible adult supervision, be none of that whatsoever on a True North Adventure!
