    You could have left your charging stations even quicker too since you had such a large range buffer at your destination. And if you noticed, the first charge stop was "limited by charging station." That means the cable/handle got too hot due to the energy flowing and the outside temperature. What you can do and what the big charging nerds do is place a cold wet rag over the charging cable/handle to keep that cool. You would have gotten even faster speeds charging if you would have done that. All in all, a great road tripping vehicle and it will continue to get better

    Thanks for the video. I'm about to go on my first extended road-trip. So this is helpful. My understanding is that at standard ride height, the Rivian's tires will wear more evenly. Consequently, that is my preferred ride height setting as well. At the other settings, the camber of the wheels will change, and that could wear out the tires more quickly.

  • @ByTesla237
    @ByTesla2377 күн бұрын

    Yeah that’s true about tire wear. Also running in conserve mode - be careful. You can wear out the front tires way more quickly that way. All purpose is better as long as you don’t press the accelerator to the floor a lot. Haha. In the end just rotate regularly and enjoy!!

    Thanks for sharing your road trip. We bought a 23 Model 3 RWD last fall for my wife's daily driver. First electric car and Im extremely impressived how efficient and what a good buy the car was. No regrets. Running the latest spring update and overall it has some great updates but I do not like that they moved the power bar from the top left to the left side, vertically. Now, at least for my seating and hand position, the steering wheel blocks the lower portion oh the power bar from view.

    Glad you are enjoying it. I agree the power bar is hard to see along the left side. I preferred it at the top also. Mostly every update is good but once in a while they regress on certain things.
