  I live in washington and we don’t have a limit ever cause there a problem fish that were planted here in the 1800s 95% of us don’t eat them we just catch hundreds of them to use for crab and sturgeon bait as well as bait for other fish when you find a person that does eat them they normally smoke them

  If you aren’t keeping shad, do not handle them like that. Use a net and keep them in the water. They are very delicate fish. Also, they kept pulling the hook out of their mouths. Shad have delicate mouths that rip through easily.

  Good job on catching those crabs! Just a fyi you can keep up to 12 males and it only has to be 5 3/4 inch when crabbing at that jetty.

  Due to the rest of the community here on YT, we recommend checking WDFW's website for clamming locations. Just put in your general area. You might find one not too far away from you.
