eScoot

As eScooter technician since 2018 I learned a lot and want to share my knowledge with you to help you avoid common and costly mistakes. I also want to share my view of some new eScooters on the market since I look at them a bit different way than most people. When it comes to eScooter my biggest concern is build quality over speed and range. I post when ever I can and when I have useful topic to discuss so consider subscribing and turn on nortifications to be informed when ever I post new useful and informing video. All info I share in my videos are my own experiences and opinions. If you have any questions or suggestions for future topice share them in comments section and I'll do my best to include them in my coming videos. Apologies for lack of perfect production but I have almost no knoweledge about video editing and consider info in video more important than production.

Hi! I am from Quebec in Canada, and I have been driving a Nami Burn-e 2 Max since September 2022. From mid-November to mid-April, I cannot drive it given our harsh winters in Quebec. So I drove it for between 12 and 13 months in total. I take it to work between 3 and 5 days a week depending on the temperature. The distance is 25km one way, so 50km in total! I have exceeded 8000 km with it and it is still going strong. I only changed the tires (once) and the brake pads every 2500km. I weigh around 110kg with my helmet and equipment, and she doesn't care at all! It's a real beast! I drive at an average speed of 40 to 60 km/h. Obviously, sometimes I push it a little more... 😉 On the Gilles Villeneuve circuit (F1 race) in Montreal, I reached 95km/h at my weight. I do 0/50km/h in 3 seconds, it's killer! The battery has not yet lost autonomy. At the speed I'm driving and the mode still in X mode, I do around 80km on one charge. It would be better if I drove more peacefully. For those wondering if it is waterproof...I got caught 4 times in fairly intense storms and I never had a problem afterwards. The controler is better on the Nami, you can go smoother on starting if you want but not with the GTR. Very impressive as a machine, and very reliable to date. Not the case with the Wolf King. It's next level! Team Nami! 👊😎

I put 1K miles on my G30 over 2 year and then nervously bought the G2 a few months ago. It took a few weeks to get used to the shorter deck (I'm 6'2") and the added height, but I very quickly loved it. Now when I go back to the G30 it feels like a child's toy! I never felt that way when I had it, but there is no turning back for me. The added range and 22mph is just so close to ideal that I don't feel there is anything better with the same reliability and those amazing tires that set your mind at ease. I just wish I had another 2-3 inches of flat deck to stand on :)

While overall F40 seems better indeed, Niu scooter offers more value - I just ordered one for my girlfriend from official producer website for just 324 euro... That's much lower than I'd have to pay for F40 and I am getting 2 years of EU warranty for a piece of mind too. So I'd say for better bang for your buck - check Niu

Friend, you said so many bad things about the Kugo/Kukirin brand, and you caused most of the problems yourself. Not a single electric scooter up to €1,000 is waterproof. I assume that the electric scooter is stored in the garage during the winter, and you do not maintain the battery properly. Tires and brake pads are ridiculous to mention. It is a consumable and manufacturers save on it. Many cars leave the factory with bad tires, so the owner buys better ones. Yes, the screws should be tightened on all electric scooters. Most of us solve this problem by putting lock-tite glue on the screws and they no longer come loose. Four of my friends have had Kugo and Kukirin models for more than three years, over 3,000 km and have had no problems. They drive on the road and off-road, uphill and downhill. That was the reason I bought Kukirin G2 Pro a couple of months ago. I have almost 1000km on it and everything is still original, no knocking, no problems. If you are looking for a el. scooter that will withstand your climate with a lot of humidity and rainy days, then open your wallet, take out €2000-3000 and buy the "real thing". Even then, you cannot be 100% sure that water and moisture will not cause problems.

So, the -0 thing is not an error, it is the screen where you enter your 4 number pin code using the combination of direction light switch + brake or horn button. It is actually really good and useful when the battery of your phone dies so you cant use the phone to unlock the scooter. Your scooter has the sound alarm disabled as it would be beeping really loud with its horn if you tried to move it in that state and flashing lights. The suspension thing is like that when you buy it (I own one from a batch from the end of last year, im in Europe), it seems to be by design so it can properly engage with the the rest of the "fork shaft" when you stand on the scooter or hit a bump. I have about 500km on mine and a lot of it on rough dirt terrain and it is fine for now.

Thanks for explaining design problems in front fork of Max G2. I believe front suspension was not properly designed and potential consumers should think twice before buying such scooter. I have ninebot MAX G30P and to make scooter softer I installed fork with springs. After about 150 km. I lubricated the fork inside, added rubber gaskets under the springs, covered the nickel-plated surfaces with pair of motorcycle Front Fork Gaiter Dust Covers because they are too low and after each trip they need to be cleaned of dust, dirt and lubricated. Scooter become 15 - 20% softer with much better impact on front wheel bearings.

@fiudad unfortunately eScooter is not with me, but you remove stickers on rear side covers, screws will be either hex 2.5 hex or Phillips. Make sure to use the correct tools. Next it to loosen nuts on the wheel and, of course, to open battery cover. Battery cover will be tightened with hex 2.5.id like to make avide obaout it but unfortunately I dont have eScooter with me anymore

Do you think rear motor differ from front motor scooters in the matter of over heating? My child friends have other mi scooters lite 3, when they play together mi 4 liter second generation start indicate over heat and 3 lite doesn't

@yalsayed85 no. Motors should be the same. The only difference is that more weight is always on the rear wheel, and with that, it's less likely to slip. It should have slightly better torque and better range per charge.

@@escootIreland yes I know, but my inquiry is about over heating because of more weight on the rear wheel

Troubling theft of getting knocked off scooter then stolen… perhaps a wired tether cable that detaches & shuts the scooter down when u are physically separated from the scooter.. else have a permit to carry… ha ha .. just kidding..😂
