  Truth: Ali was a good man, at least in my opinion. But let's not idolize his character. Ali had lots of affairs, many extramarital. One was with a 16 year old when he was 32 and married. He got her pregnant and then married her. So why the act of being offended by talk of nudity? Because he had to stay in the good graces of the ministers of the Nation of Islam - and you should educate yourself on how people's sexuality are controlled in Islamic nations. Second, Ali did resist his military draft, but not for the right reasons. Again, he was in the Nation of Islam, which, like BLM, was against anything that was for the United States. So they told him to resist. He didn't know - as hardly anyone outside of the upper echelons of US government knew at the time - that Ho Chi Minh only wanted the United States to help him end the colonization of his country by France. He had appealed to Presidents Woodrow Wilson and Harry Truman. Wilson refused to meet him (after WWI, around 1918) since he was an unknown twenty-eight year-old at the time. Truman refused (after WWII) since Truman needed France's cooperation to form NATO to resist the new Soviet threat. THAT would have been a reason to resist a war that was reactionary to stupid decisions by US presidents.
