That is such a great scene. To show people coming to a peaceful solution to their conflicts/issues without resorting to violence, and not showing the stereotypes of the time portraying American Indians as unthinking savages. Good stuff.

never heard of anybody say they did not like this movie..it captivates the viewer as soon as they see it on the tube..one of thee best movies..Eatwood is a legend..and knows what the viewer wants..Hollywood is a puddle of mud compared to this era..
