  All we would need would be something close to this on tour, but I'd say make songs with lower register. It's not like the most enjoyable thing in music is a guy singing as high as possible in 2024

  The amount of power and emotion he puts in his voice give dream theater that crazy intense feeling to the over all sound. It's truly theatrical. One of my all time favorite vocalists

  De acuerdo: es impresionante que después del daño a sus cuerdas vocales y a la edad que ahora tiene pueda cantar como lo hace. Pero al principio su voz era increible y quedaba muy bien con un conjunto musicalmente del máxmo nivel; pero ahora da pena ajena. Me gusta la música de Dream Theater, pero no soporto la voz de Labrie, mucho menos en vivo. Y no creo ser el único que se ha alejado de Dream Theater por la espantosa voz de Labrie. Entiendo que su voz es esencial en el sonido de Dream Theater, que necesita trabajar para vivir, que las familias de los 5 miembros del grupo están muy conectadas, pero creo que Labrie, por dignidad, debería de haberse retirado hace años. Okay, it’s impressive that after the damage to his vocal cords, and at the age he now has, he can sing like he does. But at the beginning his voice was incredible and fitted perfectly with a band musically of the highest level; but now it's awful. I like Dream Theater music, but I can’t stand Labrie’s voice, let alone live performances. And I don’t think I’m the only one who’s walked away from Dream Theater because of Labrie’s bad voice. I understand that his voice is essential in the sound of Dream Theater, that he needs to work to live, that the families of the 5 members of the group are very connected, but I think that Labrie, for dignity, should have retired years ago.
