  What they were able to build back then never ceases to amaze me. I visited Pompeii many years ago and really enjoyed the experience. I would have loved to have seen it in its original state. What a sight that would have been. 🇦🇺🙏💕🌻

  I think that this reconstruction may not fit the most recent research. For it leaves out the Venus Victorix temple that is now thought to have stood on the Capitoline Hill.
