Thank you for another wonderful detailed visualization of the large theater and the smaller "Odeion" theater adjacent to it. I imagine all of the niche statuary were painted in bright colors as well as some of the architecture. Love the natural wood beam roof as it contrasted against the marble. Did the smaller theater have a more specific purpose for a more intimate experience? Maybe a concert or oration? Tonal background music a good choice. Thumbs up!

The Odeion is exceptionally impressive. The clear roof span is around 27 to 28 meters. It appears to be a wood beam or truss roof. Bravo to the Roman engineers who relied on rule of thumb since structural calculations were not available as a method until after the discovery of laws of motion (and statics) by Isaac Newton.
