Great video! One request - can you introduce a lag before displaying the name of the birds? I am trying to find vids to use to teach my kid to identify KP birds and he thinks it is pretty funny if he can just read the answer instead of working it out for himself! The lag just needs to be long enough to pause the vid.

I thought this was the most beautifully put together bird video. Thanks for not being boring and talking over it! Very evocative. Just to say though that your two flying hooded crows were ravens, and I don't think the soaring peregrines were peregrines, looked more like buzzards, but thats me being pedantic. Thank you for transporting me!

Thank you so much for the video. I am watching it and getting excited for when I go over to Darwin for the second time. The video is very good, however I thought I would let you know that at 4:23 this bird is not a "Gull-billed Tern" and infact a "Greater Crested Tern". Please note the dull yellow bill, "Lesser Crested Tern" which is also common there has a much brighter almost orange bill, and "Gull-billed Tern" which has now been split between two species "Australian Tern" and "Gull-billed Tern" has a black bill. 8:21 wow I have seen these loads of times on trips to the east coast of Australia, including my previous trip to Darwin, however I have never seen them in a tree. Great observation. 17:37 I do love to see the large groups of Black Kites. Great video of them.

Dear Marchal, did you use tripod during video recording in the field ?
@guymarchal86602 ай бұрын
Yes that is what I mostly do, however if the birds are jumping from one branch to another, I also shoot handhold with software stabilisation during editing

A very unobtrusive video that puts the beautiful birds front and center. I thoroughly enjoyed it and appreciate your labeling the birds. Even in terrain and with species we're familiar with, we miss on IDs as birders so corrections are always welcome. Thanks again for the excellent video.
