Unwind after a long day and visit Dawlish Beach from anywhere and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature via our Full HD and 4k professional cameras with sound.
Enjoy our free cameras that are supported by local adverts here and we broadcast 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The Coast Cams cameras have caught storms, meteorites, and huge waves and the trains are regularly hit by the waves, which makes excellent viewing.

Very well done look forward to seeing more
I’ve just seen it on TV about what you do I think it’s amazing
Great video! Did you also film the Western charter on the same day because we saw the drone flying, from the window of that train? Second question - is the sound (on drone footage) added during editing or how do you prevent the noise from drone engines? Thanks 👍
❤❤❤❤❤❤
What train station is at 2:32 ? Thank you. 👍
Teignmouth.
@@CoastCams247 Thank you. 👍
Can you give me your microphone info please?
Rode Wireless 2
@@CoastCams247 thanks 😊
💪💪💪
Still amazes me that the longest trains I ever see are pulled by steam (gotta get the revenue I'm guessing). Grew up watching HST's being 8-ish cars which is now reduced to 2+4, the odd voyager etc today is maybe 5, then an 80 year old steam loco comes through with more than double that.
12 car trains still or were regular peak hour trains on London to South Coast services, 3x4 car EMU's that often are split or coupled to/from London so that more than one destination/start can be served. Found myself in the wrong part more than once due to propping up the Buffet counter not noticing where we were.
Coast cams, a BIG thank you 🤗💞
Is just the glowing fire in its firebox and its steam but could this happen?
😂 How reassuring that a sense of humour is still present in society... nice one guys!
Great video guys , quality filming.. enjoyed that thanks
When's it coming back please?
What a magnificent sight, thank you 🤗
That’s fantastic
Missed this one sadly, when’s the next?
Very good Neil thank you
When was the last time you saw a diesel haul 9 carriages through there? That's what always gets me.
Thanks Neil great video as always
Thank you Neil very special memories ❤😊xx
How I love a steam engine wish we had never lost them nostalgic
They're not all lost, just fewer in number and we appreciate seeing them more.
The Thumbnail Makes It Look Like A Model Railway
Great to see this masterpiece thundering along without any diesel loco assistance on the down line.
The diesel does not provide assistance other than additional electric supply if more than one kitchen car and to haul the carriages out of a terminus if no local locomotive available. It will then haul them around a reversing loop back into the terminus. The steam loco following if no local turntable after coaling and watering. Also adds weight and additional braking to minimise any shunting and jerks between carriages still using old screw couplings.
When is this back?
Absolutely wonderful piece of footage 👍
Imagine sitting out side the Ship inn and seeing it coming toward you !
Chocolate river
They have carried out a fantastic job with the new construction, but it’s let down by the rusty bridge. It would look great if it had been painted in GWR colours.
Thank you SO much!! Beautifully put together,,, 👏👏👌👌💯 🤩,,!!
Great locomotive. Managed to video at Taunton yesterday
Why didn't you film the class 37s.
Saw this on the cam, what an amazing sight and the smell of the soot and steam... 🤔
Class Video. The Drone along the front was fantastic. I missed this yesterday...both down and up, so this has more than made up for it. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it
Beautiful Neil thank you ❤😊xx

❤❤❤👍👍👍
Fantastic video, full of info, really enjoyed it all, thankyou Both.
We were trying to get back to Totnes on the 6 March when they had a mini rockfall. It was absolutely chaos at Exeter that afternoon. We got as far as Newton Abbot then bused it to Paignton then got the Plymouth bus from there to Totnes.
People who live by the sea are so lucky to have the freedom of spirit the rest of us yearn for - except when the grockles are around when it gets a bit crowded.
Thank you so much! Love salty cottage cam! ❤
Good news
Can't wait to be back in Dawlish in June
