Sir Nigel Gresley Steam Train Through Dawlish with Ultra Slow-motion
Sir Nigel Gresley was the first steam locomotive to pass our first live camera back in 2014 and it’s great to see it running on our line again.
Sir Nigel Gresley passed through Dawlish on the 5th of August 2023. I shot this with my Canon R5 at 120fps and used AI technology to slow it down to 1000 FPS slow motion.

We were on this train journey, 😊😊 had a great day. Lovely to see all the people at the track side waving. Very windy day.
A wonderful sight and a great video, especially liked the slow-mo sections... the A4 with its side skirts off really shows the workings

I saw it at Paignton station. It looked so well prepared and clean. The station staff looked pleased to be involved.
What a brilliant effect. My eye/memory tries to do that when a steamer passes quickly. I have snapshots in my head of Mallard and Scotsman at speed, that I wish I could download.

The shine on her put the shabiness of the bridge to shame. At least storm Antoni did not test the new wall by coming from the North, poor north Devon and Cornwall.

Beautiful A4s. Personally I like the look of Sir Nigel Gresley better than Mallard. You can actually see the mechanism in the whistles
great slow- mo ,i got two drones but i need some lesson's on how to fly them any tip's.
