Idk what I’m doing guess I’m blaming mic but it sounds blown out when I sing louder even close of further and adjusting gain

Big fan of the telefunken based on this demo. Rich texture in those mids and really accentuated the grit without being remotely harsh. I bet it takes to an eq like a champ.

The sweet spot for me was the 4.5s(hs4) I had the PreSonus 4.5s I had to return and reorder them even went to a shop and the one they had had problems testing in their shop haha !!! (I SENT THEM BACK LOL 2nd time ) VERY FUN TIMES

I have had a bad experience with Presonus unfortunately! the speakers I got were 4.5 gen two and they have a bad hissing noise Would be completely ok if you were far away but on my desktop NO WAY I contacted support and they said it was normal and I was like nope that's definitely not normal with just power plugged in. I have heard people complaining about similar issues with these. I am returning them for HS4s and will update you!

The cheaper one sounds good but you can clearly hear the quality on the more expensive one , that is a huge difference though for such a small difference. The price to difference ratio doesn't add up but I guess that's how they make money off us , just like car parts mods companies make money off us car guys ...

Why do you overprocess your vocals when doing mic reviews? None of these mics are as bright as you have them in this video. And quit with the tuning. It just throws off the ear when comparing.

I’d figure a BLUE Mic is best selling. Based off what I’ve seen at least. Definitely not the best USB Mic, but A LOT of people buy them.

It depends on the usage. This model of Presonus is a very good cheaper option for movie and music listening and even for very amateur home studio mixing/recording. BUT Yamaha is a more expensive and better choice for home studio.

I was using a blue yeti which is usb and just got the AKG P120. Biggest difference is podcast mics are not meant to handle the range (volume) one might project while singing. Also, the fact that I can plug the XLR into my interface means I can manually adjust the gain. Something you can’t do with a usb. I haven’t watched the video <3

according to your info, there is next to no price gap given the usb mic is ready out of the box, and the xlr you need to buy extra stuff like the cable, the interface. i honestly couldn't tell the difference between the sound. if there is a difference it is not significant enough to measure.

there is no need for someone in a homestudio to buy all these expensive equipment and still don't have to knowledge to work them properly.... a commersial facility has to have brand staples in its arsenal. cause it also has the experienced engineers to work on them.
