Spiders are truly beautiful creatures. I overcame severe arachnophobia. It took literally years of watching wildlife lovers and whatnot to really help me see how wonderful they are. This year I finally decided to get pet tarantulas and I've loved it. Mostly. I bought a mature Pink Toe tarantula from Petsmart on accident. I loved it. I held it many times and had no problems. But it died on me suddenly and it hurt big time. It's weird. There was a time in my life I never would have imagined loving a spider but life changes you in mysterious ways. The thing people don't realize is most spiders don't want to hurt you. They just want to be left alone. But none actively seek to hunt you down or do you harm without reason. Spiders are a vital part of the ecosystem and most of them are bros. If you see one in your house just know there's probably a reason. It's probably eating other critters in your home that you wouldn't want.

I actually think that almost all wild animals are like this - spiders, rats, wolves, squirrels, elephants, lions, etc. They typically only hurt people when they feel threatened in some way. When people have been k*lled by wild animals, it typically was because they felt threatened somehow. For example: there was an elephant who k*lled a man in Africa somewhere; but that man was part of a poaching group who was k*lling those elephants for their tusks. I've actually been able to hand-feed wild animals before (squirrels), and they've never even bitten me. Some of them will even bring their babies. Basically: if you don't hurt them, then they won't hurt you. Edit: I actually even had a porcupine do this once.

When I was 16, I had to go wake up my mom in the middle of the night to take a house spider out of my room because of my arachnophobia. I realized that it cannot go on like that so I started watching videos of jumping spiders, then house spiders and finally tarantulas. Now I have a rose hair as a pet and I can't seem to stop being amazed by her. Sorry for your loss, she would definetly thank you for the time you took care of her if she could. Hope you will get more spiders in the future and keep loving them!

@amsegar6300 I used to be so scared of spiders that I wouldn't even go into a room that I saw a spider in a week ago. I live in Canada, dude - there are no venomous or large spiders up here. After a while, I realized that my fear was completely irrational, and that they shouldn't have to suffer because of MY irrational fears. It's not their fault that I'm so scared of them. I'll probably never like spiders, but I can let them crawl on me now to take them outside. 😊

I noticed that the species you listed in the description is not only incorrect, but also doesn’t exist. There is no ‘montana’ in the Holconia genus. Upon research, I found that the animal in question, the Bark Huntsman, is from the Genus Pediana, it’s species being Pediana regina.
@Sam-I-Am Жыл бұрын
Nope. This is an Isopeda montana. Isopeda has long been replaced by Holconia but Isopeda is still commonly used. Therefore Isopeda montana and Holconia montana are synonymous.
@EathanDouglas7 ай бұрын
@@Sam-I-Am yes this is Isopeda but I would say without the location known, we cant say Montana, it could be queenslandensis or Villosa, depends on local on setae on chelicera which we cant get a proper look at. Holconia also didn't replace Isopeda, Isopeda is the genus that Holconia actually split off of, Isopedella and Beregama did too, they are all separate genera entirely.
