I was married 27 yrs. He told me in Jan 2016. Divorce final April 18, 2016. He became facebook official with the woman he had been seeing before Jan 25, 2016 on what would have been our anniversary. I'm very independent now. I dont ever want to be in a position to where somebody can take eveything from me.

I definitely agree on the heat.. we now have the thermal blackout curtains throughout the house to help block this insane heat.

I enjoy watching you, but I will probably not after today. When your not talking and the music comes on so loud I have to turn it way down, and then you start talking and I miss half of what your saying and have to turn it back up so I can hear you and know what you are saying. And usually have to rewind playing the video so I can catch it. I don't know if this bothers anyone else but it's hard for me.

My daughter is going through this and I told her to focus on herself. Get some therapy. Take bubble baths. Journal. Get a haircut and eat healthy. She is doing much better now. So will you. I am new to your channel. I am excited to see where life leads you.

Most divorced women comment their lives are happier after divorce or "i never been happier " or "leave the mess for him to deal with ".... Don't you all forget, the day when you get married, you all said this is the most happiest day in my live. Things change, just accept and move on. Don't talk like divorce is easy things. Life will forever happier after divorce.

The bedroom is coming out nicely. I love the window by your steps. I wouldn't do anything to it. I love when there is natural light coming in and when the sun in the morning hits you and wakes you up.🌞 It is a much gentler and nicer way to wake up vs the alarm clock. My dogs ( when I had them) and my friemds dogs when I watch them are always allowed on my bed and furnitures!!😅🐾

Hey Ann. What if you got a smart bulb and left the switch on. When you need it lit just say Alexa turn on light. My son has his room set up that way
They make a film that you can place on the inside of your windows. You can see outside but you can't see inside. The only drawback is at night, if you are outside looking in, you can see inside if that makes any sense. But it does cut down on the amount of light and heat coming in the house. I live in Georgia and it's hotter than a grilled jalapeno here right now, so window film is a godsend. Good luck!!! I love your videos!!!!

I had a room like that for a few years. I got the Ikea wire curtain rod and hung it slightly above the closet doorway and ran curtains all the way down.
Ann, u so need to stop & recharge...I think we get on auto pilot to keep ourselves distracted from the trauma (in ur case ur divorce) we've endured & numb ourselves by staying busy. I'm in Aaww of how much you've gotten done in 3 wks. It is mind blowing 🤯 I would b willing to bet most people would b depressed & none functioning after going through all you've been through. If this makes u feel a little better, I want u to know when I watch ur videos it motivates me to get stuff done in my own little in-law apt. in SF. Everything is coming along soooooo well & I'm so happy that ur surrounded by family as u transition into ur new normal...🦋🪴🌝
Hey Ann ♥️ I came here to say that you could’ve used a smart lightbulb in the light fixture upstairs and then just turned the light on and off through an app on your phone.
I have a lamp plugged in that I say Alexa turn the light on from whatever room I’m in.
Your home is beautiful. Divorce is hard but you won’t be alone for long and you’re doing a great job.
