  It's still hard to control unless you have a mouse that has notches for each scroll input but it helps a lot. There's also some degree of car control/awareness that you gain from doing it the normal way with A-jump D-flip (going along rightwall) that you just don't get with this. Worth it tho cause doing it backwards is really easy.

  my nose is pointing at the ground and hitting the ground and im not getting the 45 degree angle, how can i fix this (i use w a for speedflipping)

  If you're on kbm then when you do a diagonal flip you can only flip at 45 degrees. Do W+A (or W+D if pref) and slide your finger to S as quick as you can. Even if you do that slide from W to S slowly it is still a speedflip. Everything after is just refining. If you're hitting the ground with your nose then you can wait to get a bit higher before doing your flip but the reason you are hitting the ground is probably because you are not switching from W to S fast enough. The only way I can find to make my nose hit the ground every time is doing the speedflip slide from W to S slowly while from a standstill. If that's what you're doing then the W-S slide can be faster. The average speed it takes me to execute a flip cancel after starting my initial flip is 42.2 ms. (did 10 flips, my fastest was 25 ms, my slowest was 58 ms)

  Thanks to your videos. I've got this right with practice. Right now I'm trying to figure out how double flip resets work for kbm. I cant really get the second reset for some reason. And not many videos on this asepct in kbm. Would be kind enough for you to guide me on that if you have it figured out. Much love and thanks brother ❤

  Evample has a really simple double flip reset for kbm players, 100% recommend to give that a look.

  i can do a speed flip. my motion is right. but my nose keeps hitting the ground. even when i do a diagonal flip my nose hits the ground. im getting so fucking sick of it

  Might be because you're flipping too quickly, let your car jump a little higher before flipping

  Yea crystal gear is harder now that we can't craft it in u8. I got mine from doing delves while club mates carried me (most clubs do delve runs, join an active one from global chat). When you open the shadowy vaults you have a chance of getting c-gear. If you can't get it then do your best to get to u8 and get your water/air/fire gems radiant level 15 then try u8 topside.

  I like to leave music off since people probably listen to their own and I also don't have to deal with copyright stuff as well. And I really wanted the first video to be handholding to show how to do the quests since sometimes people get stuck. I did ff a lot of parts, I think it was around 3 hours of footage initially but the video is incredibly long. It's honestly more of a starting from scratch series than a guide. The description is probably more helpful than the video itself.

  Yea it's a little tricky at first. I should have mentioned that I use a g502 mouse which has a scroll wheel that lets me control how many times I scroll down but it is possible to do it on other mice. You just need to be precise with how many inputs of jump you are sending to get it correctly because if you send to many you might fly off the wall.

  Is there something I can practice this on? For example go from point A to point B in x number of seconds. And that x number of seconds can be done only by speed flipping and not by regular front flipping..because IM struggling to recognize if I am doing it right or no

  Hi! Do you know where are the Swivel key stored? In which file? Seems that there is not in these default files... :-( I want to bind a key to SwivelUp 60% in order to see above the ball, sometimes.

  I know you can bind it in game which is what I do but if you want it on your mouse you would probably have to remap your mouse buttons to G or some other key and bind that key to swivel up/down. But the in-game settings menu should be enough to do it unless you want it on a really non-normal key.

  btw, if you do it with shift rather than air roll, u end up landing slightly sideways unless u 'uncancel' the cancel near the end, if u just wonna hold the cancel the whole way through you can't use shift to air roll, use q or e and correct with a or d respectively near the end of your flip. the inputs look like this: d(short tap)->w+q(hold)->w(slide)s(hold)->a->w(hold as you land). Doing it this way you land at the ball earlier on kickoff and have more time to correct yourself. (thnx to my coach Sleepy for helping me figure this out)

  It's the same mechanic and there are a lot of different ways to go for kickoff. The general ways that players go for kickoff with a speed flip is: > Diagonals If you're on a left diagonal kickoff then speedflip with a right diagonal flip, land, flip straight into the ball as best you can. Invert if you're on the opposite side. > Straight ahead while car is slightly offset: If you're offset to the left, briefly turn right in towards the first small pad, jump, while in the air turn left away from where your car is going, then speedflip right so you land at the second small pad that is infront of the ball. Invert if you're on the opposite side. > Straight ahead: Speedflip in the direction you like most. Hope that helps, I'd recommend getting the mechanic down outside of kickoff first and watching how your favorite pro goes for kickoff.

  You can do it with Q and E too, thats how I started to learn it. I stopped doing it that way because I found I had moments where I was needing to press A or D after the flip and realized I can just be already pressing it.

  Yea I hold shift which is my directional airroll so holding A/D does the same thing as Q and E for me. The landing late at the ball could be because you're holding boost through the start of the training pack (unless you mean late to kickoff) or it could be because you're flipping too late or even too early. I'd honestly have to see it to know but holding Q/E or A/D shouldn't make a difference for the speed. I just find it easier to transition to other mechanics/recovering to use A/D.

  The timing of when you send the jump command with your scroll wheel, where your car is going, how fast your car is going, and whether you're airrolling into the wall without steering are all important to manage and it all has to be done at the same time. If you're on the left wall holding Q and W (no A) while driving horizontally across the wall then all that's left is learning the timing of when to flip. If you slam the scrollwheel then you will flop off the wall. Imagine you're trying to send exactly TWO jump inputs with the scrollwheel. No more, no less.

  You might need one yea, I've never tried it on a non mechanical kb so there might be some key rollover issue or the keyboard can't send the inputs fast enough. Sorry I can't help more than this.

  1) why is the rightmousebutton line in there 2 times? 2) i don't get why the handbrake binds are also copy pasted? 3) i just did the scroll bind and am combining it with my direction airroll binds, but im not that consistent for some reason, point 1 & 2 might be the reason but i didn't get that completly 4) help me out ^^

  standard airroll = mousethumbbutton airroll L = mousebutton 5 airroll R = leftmousebutton i think this affects what i change in the config, the binds in the config are standard binds, but not what i'm using atm i thought it would show me the keys that i have linked in the ingame settings, but it does not ( hence defaultinput i guess ) also, rocket league doesn't recognise 1 of my mouse buttons, so i linked it to the letter J with my mouse software and that also brings up issues when changing config binds i believe -_-

  1) One is for jumping, the other is to ready up like if you're in a tournament (that's the only other 2nd bind I can see in the vid thats set to rightmousebutton). I also did a brief example of how I was rebinding it but I did not save that config, what I had at 1:41 is my current cfg. 2) I'm binding one command to multiple buttons. For me I have Q, E and Shift set to powerslide. And I have jump set to right click and mousewheeldown. I also have Q and E for left/right airroll and Shift for directional airroll. That's why I'm copy pasting them. 3) And I've found that if I'm in a laggy server it's near impossible to do consistently. There's also a limit to how many jump inputs you can send at once (use bakkes for unlimited flips, reduce game speed, then spam jump (no flips) and see how some of your inputs dont cause your car to jump) so if you just have a free scrolling wheel then that could be sending the jump commands at the wrong timing. The reason the scroll is nice is because you dont need to spam right click insanely fast but there is still a matter of learning the timing for when to send the jump commands. The scroll wheel really is only to help with consistency but the mechanic is still difficult even with this crutch.

  I helped someone with this and they used some of their programmable buttons to drive forward but it was causing some issues with the config. It's been a while so I can't quite remember what we tried but I know it did not work for him at all. There's something about non default binds specifically with the mouse that breaks this games cfg.

  Jump into the air and slightly tilt your car backwards with S. Then do W+A slide to S. If you execute the flip cancel immediately you shouldn't have to tilt backwards but for learning it's not bad to do. It's happening because the pitch down bind is W so the moment the jump happens the car's nose is being pushed into the ground. You can also adjust for the nose hitting the ground by jumping higher with a longer held right click before executing the speedflip.

  Well if you're on KBM and you do W+A for a diagonal flip then you're half way there. Just drag your finger down from W to S after flipping and you're doing it. It doesn't have to be good, try and slow it down as much as you can bear to. Good execution comes from thousands of repitions, you got this.

  I'm using a wooting two HE but before that I was using the corsair k70/k65 which I also really like. I recommend just finding a mechanical keyboard you like the look/feel of and sticking with that. Hope that helps.
