    I would get the key cut first to make sure it's cut correctly and then transfer the insides into the new shell. Also take a photo of the buttons before taking it apart. So you know where to place them when you put it back together.

    I'm wondering if a single strap per stack is really sufficient. I think if you had to swerve hard that a single strap could fail or the load could more easily shift and three single strap could go slack. Or maybe just a few good bounces in the road might jostle these enough to sicken a strap. If this is your business or a typical haul, it's probably worth the nominal cost to get enough straps to double up.

  • @ThriftyGarage
    @ThriftyGarageКүн бұрын

    Not a typical haul. We had a job half a mile away and we moved these stones for a temporary retaining wall to load haul trucks.

  • @davidbenji1

    @ThriftyGarage Well, if it's just a mile away then I would say the single straps were more than sufficient! Great job!!😄

    Hello, I know it's ridiculous to ask any questions. This is my first air compressor excluding the rectangular Sears type. My Worst Fears became true. If anyone could Please let Me know what happened, what not to do again and what not to. I only pressurised after doing the break-in-cycle a few days later. Everything was going good 😊👍.. until I tried disconnecting the primary coupler. As soon as I did the push in to disconnect, the male fitting Burst out near took me out and left a dent in my front door. This was the least of my worries. The compressor tank coupler would not close and was making a sound that scared The Shit out of me. It was hissing, I pulled the top ring and bottom valve to try and equal the pressure exit displacement. It took an EXTREMELY Long time to complete empty on gauges. I felt like I was trying to Diffuse a hydrogen bomb while In air upsidedown with Wickman Witworth Wrenches and the bomb didn't work on either Witworth, nor Metric and not even American Standard. Turned out,. The wreck was from an old Volkswagen Fox from the 1980s. Anyways, if not for air compressors, we could not have flaked All Of those inflatable tanks during propaganda WWII 😮

    I build those walls for a living and the number one reason for that failure was compaction. You can see what I’m talking about. By the way the grid has a big swag in it. It should not have that.

    Great video thanks. The app works fine on my Ipad, but on my Android phone, the manual water function doesn’t list the ‘custom watering’ zones. It is just blank. I’ve tried removing the app from the Android phone and resending an email invite and downloading the file. The ‘custom watering’ zones is still blank. Any suggestions?

    I have a box receiver at the rear of my Cat D6, use it for various trailers and cultivators. I get a kick out of the max ratings for hitch balls. Using a 2” ball, I often tow my 40,000 pound 12 row disc harrow. Never a problem. Where they come up with 8000 pound max baffles me to no end. That 1” shank will withstand a whole lot of shear force before she cracks and let’s go.

    The best grease gun is the Lock N Lube G-Gun. It has a 10 foot hose and is not a one handed operation. By the time you buy and experiment with various guns and fittings you can buy one G-Gun. The G-Gun will cut you greasing time in half

    They are both equally useful for our intended purpose. It’s a variety pack for a variety of jobs and not a dedicated tool set for a specific need. If I had to pick one I’d probably go with the Channel Lock.

  • @ThriftyGarage
    @ThriftyGarage29 күн бұрын

    Load Range E on our 4Runner was too much. Really heavy, reduced gas mileage, poor performance on washboard/gravel roads. Tundra is a little bigger and weights more, but something to consider.
