B&W is really not that expensive. Not the cheapest but far from the most expensive.

For 99% of people... The b&w hitch is the best, most convenient and only hitch you will ever need!... I was super confused why it wasn't on this list until you explained why lol... Great video man!

My company only runs geny the duallys will tow 20k+ lbs daily

I have the 2 1/2 inch Gen Y and love it you it for my 24 foot inclose car trailer with the weight hitch on it and then i can take it off and put it on my work truck and pull my 16,000 lbs equipment trailer. Yes its a heavy hitch to carry around but i will never worry about it breaking with a heavy load or anything.

You need to tryout Fastway Ball Mounts, 2.5" shank aluminum rated for 18k lbs, they also have bunch of feature options you can choose from, including integrated locks, silent towing, and tongue weigh options.

I don’t think the hitches are priced too high for what they are. To be honest sometimes I am surprised that the cost to build and manufacture ball hitches has remained relatively low compared to other items affected by inflation. To spend $300 or even $600 on a quality hitch when trucks cost $50k or even $100k and a trailer is $10k or more! That’s only 3-6% of the trailers value. It’s literally pennies when you compare it to a new truck. What shocks me is the number of cheap hitches I see attached to high dollar vehicles, pulling expensive trailers.

Holy cow the end of the video about killed me why didn't you just use a small punch and hit the pin through the other side and it would have popped right out second thing would be to use no seize lubricant on both the pin and the shaft the ball sits on you wouldn't had all the problems taking everything apart like you did.....

Partially trying to mimic real world conditions. I daily carry my leatherman so that would be my go to tool. Obviously that plan didn’t last long. Also, this hitch was purchased used so it had significant wear and tear. I replaced the convert-a-ball in another video.

I’m towing a 20 foot trailer with a Chevy Colorado which would be best for me thank you

Depending on the weight and ratings of your truck and trailer you may want to consider a weight distribution hitch. I would also highly recommend Weigh Safe if you are towing anywhere near your max capacity. That and go to the scales to ensure you are within proper ratings. Weigh Safe does make a distribution hitch if I remember correctly.

This video was a let down. You didn't cover the most important facts, comparing which is less/more sloppy or noisy when towing down the road.

They are not called hitches, they are called ball mounts .... hitches are what is bolted on the tow vehicle

Are all the hitch lengths at the longest setting?
