Only changing the cap and not lowering the temp will make it overheat in extreme heats. I would not recommend it. As the boiling point is lower with lower pressure.

Hi, my 760 Li N73 2003 -2005 model. fuelpumps are Reading 10 bar pressure. CAR has 78.000 kms. Replaced the diafragma, but still no presure increase. Engine gets not enough fuel. Doe you have a Solution or know What the cause could be? Dutch Owner 😅

The supply pressure to the HPFP should be 6bar and rail pressure 50-125bar. If your fuel rail pressure is 10 bar then it most likely returns all the fuel from the HPFP or it does not supply enough fuel to the HPFP. Both fuel rail pressure shows 10 bar? It is not common for both to go wrong at the same time. There for I would first check the supply side and it might be that the fuel filter with the built in pressure regulator is bad and it does not hold the fuel pressure at 6bar or the in tank fuel pump is bad.

If you still have the primary and secondary catalytic converter installed and no aftermarket downpipe then this sound is really muffled. It helps if you remove the primary catalytic converter and replace it with a stainless downpipe. The secondary catalytic converter is enough to pass the emissions test. Primary only helps when the engine is cold.

Great video, I wonder if you know what it's like when you have nivomat (self-adjusting) leaf springs and shock absorbers on the car, will it still work with your control arm? or do you need to have regular leaf springs? And why do you need to cut off a piece of the leaf spring?

It will work with nivomat, but it will be better with regular leaf and shocks. Nivomat will not lower that much and the nivomat shock will try to raise the car up. The end of the leaf spring needs to be cut of because it will hit the knuckle. The leaf spring is not designed to go that low on the control arm.

You could still use the OE leaf spring and also the OE shock absorbers. Coils work well, but the lower shock absorber mount is a weak point and might break when the spring force is also on it.

The electric fan is only there for AC and extra cooling when it gets really hot. The belt driven fan is a lot more powerful then the stock electric one.

Hello, you installed bushings with a hole for lubrication, 1350H, and in the ACL catalog it shows 1355H for this engine, what is going on here? Does your car run normally on these bushings?

1350H is for older Opel's and I used this only because the 1355H were out of stock. Only difference is that 1350H have identical upper and lower halves and a bit wider. Both ones work fine.

Studs broke off when the exhaust leak was repaired. Did have a big exhaust leak when the studs were broken.

I always use the stands when I go under the car. As I never were under the car it is not that big of an issue. Also all my stands were under the 760 so had none to use :D

Hi there ,an interesting video just concerned you are using just a Jack as you can see it going down as your working 😳😳😳 You should Always use an Axel stand to support the vehicle as well to be safe 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I have the opportunity to buy a late 90’s 960 (S90). Im well versed in fabrication but I’m worried I will not be able to get the car low enough. I would like it to tuck the top of the tire or more behind the fender. This is very awesome and definitely a step in the right direction for the 960. But does anyone know the hard limit to how low you can go? and what it takes to get there. Thanks in advance.

With leaf spring you can go a bit lower then in the video, but not much.

Thank you for the video, I'm having issues with the lift system and I discovered that the hydraulic cylinder was actually leaking. is it hard to disconnect the old one and install the new one where it meets the trunk lift support? I couldn't get my hand in there and I'm wondering what would be the easiest way.

It quite hard to get disconnect it. It might help if you remove all the control modules that are in the way for more room.

@@SATSMotors thanks for the reply. Today I went to work on it and discovered that lower the trunk lid a bit extends the piston enough to fit the a screwdriver to unlock the metal tap! also ye had to remove at least the top module above the dvd changer.
