5:22 Maybe you could try reacting to the original song right after the piano version, if it's not possible to do the whole song because of KZread's copyright issues, at least the parts that you think are most highlighted, to know what Animenz was talking about. To add to people's suggestions for reacting to My dearest, I also include Animenz's version of Sparkle from the animated film Your Name. And also Ashes on The Fire from Attack on Titan. But the fact is that any interpretation in Animenz's repertoire never disappoints.✌

6:09 Here you skipped over the bit I believe to be the most difficult part in the piece, having learned the piece myself too. This is at 2:35 in the original video and is often overlooked compared to the flashy sections. The three-handed technique he is using here is easy to play but incredibly difficult to play well. The main melody is sandwiched in the middle and is split between both your hands. Being able to properly voice it is super difficult especially since the section is at mp/mf dynamic if I remember correctly. In fact, that melody is never voiced right in the performance at all. Not at 2:35, nor at 0:58. Maybe it just wasn't his biggest concern but in my opinion it does sound quite off when the dynamics aren't prioritised.

At 5:30 it’s actually really tough, because the arpeggios are awkward because of the added note and the arpeggios going down are actually different and varied so switching hand positions to suit the new arpeggios going down and keeping the tempo consistent with the left hand while allocating so much brainpower to the right hand was incredibly tough for me. My piano teacher thought it was the 2nd toughest part of the song.
