  I like this selling model. It definitely cuts down on store age at your house. Unfortunately, my attention span will not allow me to patiently wait for you to shop. I would rather you shop the. Hold things up and describe them for 30-seconds, while we decide.

  Interesting you mention Salvatore Ferragamo. I always try to sell shoe and purse dust bags if I find them. The ones that sell the best are Salvatore Ferragamo. It’s crazy to me because I have Gucci dust bags that just sit! I almost never buy shoes anymore unless they’re brand new. I absolutely hate cleaning shoes!!

  If space is limited then invest in wire shelving on casters. They can double your storage space and be easily moved as your business grows. They are often available on FB Marketplace for $65 to $95.

  Charity thrift stores are not there for the benefit of buyers. They are there for the benefit of those for whom the charity is set up for. The American Cancer Society is there to assist those with cancer and those caring for them with needed supplies that insurance won't cover. Insurance nowhere near covers everything that a cancer patient needs. That is why the items in the ACS thrift shop are priced the way they are. My mother had a brain tumor and she was terminal. In order to provide the sustenance needed, because her brain would not let her swallow, even though she was conscious, we had to pour Ensure milk into a funnel leading into her stomach tube. A case of Ensure where I live was super expensive. We had to buy approximately 3 cases a month because that and water was all she could take in. An unsupervised I.V. was out of the question and would cost even more because of the supplies needed: I.V. pole, I.V. bags, catheters, syringes, dressings, etc. and a nurse to administer the treatment. Please do research on specific thrift stores for their purpose and reasons they exist. What is left after overhead costs (Administrators, rent, utilities, etc.)after $50,000 worth in the ticket prices on items go to the charity's specific purpose. That's not much.

  Flax was a popluar brand of the 1990's only made in linen. I never bought in 100% cotton. I still have pieces hanging in my closet. It was called tissue linen, wore, washed well. Held it's color and the designer had scripture tages put in all pieces. Yes, check out vintage t shirts from 1960's, 70's, bring big bucks. Kat the nurse flipper has many videos on high end jeans that sold from 250 to 14,000. I promise. She does these every week.

  Gosh, I grew up in a tiny town without a single stop light. Now I'm here thinking it'd be so cool to start a tiny thrift store out there and stock it with bins like this if inventory ever gets low, but otherwise just let the community drop reusable stuff off they don't want anymore. If I end up getting my parent's house down the line maybe that'll be my own retirement plan...
