💘this run away wedding!! 🎉 you both look amazing.
Advertising, lying? I’m shocked..
I know you've heard this from a lot of people by now but please take care of yourself first! I adore your videos but only if you are comfortable.
Hasty? I'd love to see the leisurely version!😊
Hasty- no banns before, no engagement before, and probably time is of essence…
Most of those words are at least authentic historical words that have been in use for centuries 😂
Charming and delightful! Beautiful work and very helpful to hear you describe the clothes and choices. Thank you. 🍾 💖
What’s the width of the bones she used?
'No mirror, and boobs in the way!' Sister ❤
Your Spencer is gorgeous. And the photos. LOVE! 💗💗
Oh my, it's Wickham and Lydia! 😊😊
Just 30 years later…. :-))
@@priorattire true!!!
Those fabrics 😯 that looks more expensive than a car!!
So beautiful!❤ Your families must have been horrified 😄
Beautiful
Just love how each fold and pin made such a huge difference in silhouette and just the appearance of luxury. Like, it looked like a Duchess and her Lady-in-waiting going for a walk at the end there. Which is wild because originally, the patterned fabric looked the more luxurious piece. But all the tucks and folds were just 🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾 It's giving Beauty and the Beast. I always wondered how they got that look and now I can see the original version 👍🏾❤️
You like the video
Beautiful corset!
it's so sweet that you guys both enjoy the same hobby!
Hobby? It is my work…. I do other things for a hobby
I had no idea that men's breeches were made with a gathered bum!
need room for all that junk in the trunk
A POX ON IT! 😂
congratulations to both of you.
Lovely! Liked the lady's hat and the man's attire! The bouquet was sooo beautiful too
That was charming. I just discovered your channel. I mentioned the name to my son. He replied, "If they are available to engage, they could be Prior Attire for Hire." ;-)
Congratulations... again. ☺ Such beautiful work!
You are so talented, and we are really fortunate that you share your beautiful work with the rest of us. I truly appreciate it. Thank you!!
ooo superb! I'm ordering
My favorite video
Wow! Fascinating!
excellent video as always!🌺
I think 1872 is the best, it looks so stunning
French girl here, yes paresseuse could mean lazy ! Nice video by the way
Shocking goings on! Would the groom have worn gloves Too? I love the riding habits very much as well. I'm returning to riding after many years away and really want to do sidesaddle.
I've been told it's terrifying!!
Beautiful outfits Love this even for a wedding today Thanks for sharing your beautiful creations See you in next video ❤❤❤❤❤
now can i see the fancy well planned wedding dress? lol xD
It's not a want, it's a NEED.
Did you also manage to get that bouquet to match the era? (I know less about the flower trends of that time than about the dress fashion.)
Bouquet was provided for us- but it is mostly local meadow/ hedge flowers ( foxgloves, cow parsley, ivy, grasses) and roses, so something you’d be able to pick up even then
A beard is big NO GO in XVIII century! ☝🏻
Woah- that’s crazy! I could never…. This is the level of dedication I wish to aspire to in my projects
19th century. Beginning. Every dress was sewn under the bust. But women still wore many of these petticoats. And men also wore such short breeches.
i love videos with you and lucas together! i have a question about the colors though. you're both wearing white, but i remember reading that white wasn't worn at weddings until queen victoria popularized it in the 1840s. would regency era wedding clothes have been white, or is this particular set just white because it's summer?
White was a popular colour for everyday wear , balls, dances, weddings etc. you could wear whatever you wanted really, most people wore clothing they would be reusing. My outfits are not wedding specific at all, just everyday clothes
I was going to ask that too!
Yeah, this was the "little white dress" era when it was a standard everyday attire, and originally, quite scandalous (not the innocent pure vibes we envision)
Superbes réalisations merci pour ce partage.🤩
Lovely outfits on both of you! Very nice to see an older wedding couple too. 💐
I dont think ive ever seen someone else talking about a false vest, it looks gorgeous, do you have any fashion plates or sources showing false vests? I want to look more into them.
… and they lived happily ever after! Very elegant and suave, both of you 😻
I would like to see more folk costumes, because this is folk memory. And this memory must be preserved, so that external imperial enemies do not erase it. You are a person of great cultural and noble cause. You should be given an international cultural prize from UNESCO.🤩🤩🤩🤗🧐😎🤌🤌☝☝👍👍👍
Lovely video! Good luck with the Gretna Green trip!
I assume that the common pseudo-historical fantasy trope of a well-to-do young woman not having any idea how her clothing works would be nonsense? (i.e. you get someone who always had servants to dress her, and she is unable to figure out what needs to be done to get dressed, not just that she can't do it all by herself).
Gorgeous couple <3
Medieval cats must have done something bad to it too
Oh my god that's crazy!! Couldn't wrap my head around it
Farthingale would've been better
Completely different era and shape
