Its call the public trust doctrine . gives you the right to fish and you should call your legislater to inform these people who feel they own the property that they do not and they have to give you access to the beach. Anything 6 foot above mean high water is federal property so people can fish swim or sunbath and IS NOT PRIVATE PROPERTY

My understanding is your perfectly legal, but even if they could kick you off.... Why? Why are people so uptight about people fishing on the beach? I mean if you casting into swimmers or something that would be different. Yamato rock is pretty excluded. Not bothering anyone.

Aloha brothers, This is right up my alley. I’m reluctant to post my “opinion” only because I wouldn’t want any form of negative reflection on your page. How can I DM you? The cliff note version is: Note that he is posted right at the edge of the high water mark from that day” said mark is fluid and as long as your access to your area was lawful, and activities in said area are not contrarian to the specific municipality’s ordinances; homie and his bosses can kick rocks. I hope this happens when my ohana and I get to fish with y’all, only because this sort of issue is totally in my wheelhouse. I don’t fault the guy because he is just following “orders” and trying to make a living; but he would be standing there for as long as we chose to fish. Ocean boundary rights are part of my culture lol. Tight lines to y’all 🤙🏾

I just read the "POSITION STATEMENT ON BEACH ACCESS" for Palm Beach County. It says "yes", below "mean high water", but then that gets to be debatable exactly where that line is, and it looks like beach "access" is not guaranteed. Nevertheless, I think it's legal for you to be there. Next question, is what is the "remedy"? Do you get an attorney and start a lawsuit? And then I don't know if town laws or state laws would contradict or support that. Probably wise not to make a fuss, but I think you were "KARENED" 😮 As for the one that "got away", that's why they call it "fishin'", not "catchin'"! 😂 In many states the beaches do belong to the people, including the US Virgin Islands where the beaches belong to everyone, so once you're on the beach there, you are good to go.

Got a conventional reel to try something other than spinning reels, I watched this video before buying to get an idea of what to do, and while I am nowhere near as talented with it as you are, I was able to cast without destroying the reel and the few backlashes I got were very easy to undo. If it were not for experienced fisherman making educational videos such as this one, my reel would probably look like a cast net lol.
