I loved the Jaws ride. it was my favorite ride from any park. Harry Potter stuff is cool, but they never should’ve got rid of Jaws

Please visualize that effect that happened at 6:20 and 6:34, or else I will bring a flashlight to this ride.

I actually got to ride this once with all the effects working, there was actually once more encounter than what you described. After the scene where the shark bites the front of the boat and drags it, the next attack happened shortly after the boat drag. On the opposite side of the boat, Jaws comes out of the water and the boat would capsize 45 degrees towards Jaws as he came out of the water at the side of the boat with his mouth wide open. That was the scariest scene I've ever witnessed on a ride!

I remember this was the one ride I wanted to go on my entire childhood before I ever went to Universal. We were finally able to go for the first time after years of asking to go, and it was closed down a just few months prior lol.

me and my mom went on this ride when we were bored because we assumed it would be a low level “kiddy” ride like frog and toad or little mermaid but i was SO impressed when i realized it was projections and trackless and was so entertained the entire ride knowing it was so well made for just being a kids ride

When me and my family went to Disneyland me and my mom decided to go on this ride, not knowing that it was a rollercoaster. My mom said "there's no way they can fit a rollercoaster in that building". They infact did fit a rollercoaster in the building

Yeah, trying to make all these different systems work in tandem has never seemed to be reliable and yet the keep making these rides fraught with issues.

Do any of the lights and special effects ever cause seizures? I had seizures when I was a baby. Does it have hills like other roller coasters? I can't do roller coasters because of the hills

I'm so glad I was able to experience it. I was terrified and had my eyes closed most of the time (I'd make a crappy navi) but the experience was worth the terror, feeling the Banshee breathe was amazing. I felt like I was actually riding a dragon
