    Substitute pineapple for sugar or skip the sugar and add frozen strawberries

  • @TieraLovelle

    I’m allergic to pineapple and it’s watermelon lemonade so I didn’t want to add other fruits in it. But I definitely have made a smoothie with the strawberries like that before and it was good.

  • @TieraLovelle
    @TieraLovelleКүн бұрын

    @@autobotdiva9268 the contact paper costed around $80 for the role, the trim cost around $60. Contact paper for the cabinets $17 a roll, the paint cost $80. to be honest this DIY project didn’t cost as much as it may look like it did it also depends on how much square footage you’re working with and how much rolls you would need.

    So, you wrapped all the doors with the vinyl, then painted over the vinyl? Is that right? It looks so good!

  • @TieraLovelle
    @TieraLovelleКүн бұрын

    Aww thank you. Yes, I also added the construction paper just to add extra protection because I haven’t used this specific vinyl before I’ve used others and it’s come off with no residue but since I wasn’t sure about this one, I wanted to be cautious.

    your kitchen looks updated already. if it was the color you didnt like then thats different. hopefully you got the landlords permission because the cabinets look nice and then you painted them. ive seen really bad rentals that need makeovers. this is not one of them. im speaking from a landlords point of view.

  • @TieraLovelle

    Hello! I actually have a full makeover video on my channel that you can check out to see how I made everything renter-friendly. Personally, I wasn't a fan of the brown-on-brown look, so I decided to update it. The cabinets are from the early 2000s, and my landlords have seen the changes. They love the updates and have even complimented the work I've done. I didn't paint the cabinets; instead, I used contact paper with construction paper underneath to prevent any adhesive from sticking to the cabinet surface. I also made my own trim molding to change the shape of the cabinets. All my makeovers are completely renter-friendly and can be easily removed.

    @@TieraLovelle well thats a relief that landlords are aware but read your lease carefully cause they could take legal action in the end. i stick with trends so tenants arent frustrated with a unit. i change materials every 10 years and i have a strong lease. they arent even allwed to paint the walls without written permission.good luck on your updates.

  • @TieraLovelle

    My landlords are well aware that I enjoy DIY projects and what I do. In many of my previous videos, I’ve advised viewers to always ask their landlord and check their specific rules first, as they can vary depending on your country, province, or state. Before moving to this house, I had an apartment where my landlord didn't mind what I did to the place. Here, I asked for permission before we moved in, which is why I specifically chose this house so I could continue doing DIY updates. None of my projects are illegal or harmful to the property, and everything can be easily removed. In fact, the house had some damages like holes and other broken things before we moved in, so I'm actually fixing some of these issues. With my design experience, I want to show renters that they can personalize their space without causing damage. However, I always disclose in my videos that viewers should talk to their landlords or property managers first. For example, in one DIY project, I removed the paint from the cabinets and repainted them because I had my landlord’s permission. In that video, I mentioned how renters could achieve the same look with peel and stick options to protect the cabinets and change the color without doing what I did. Since I had permission to change the actual surface of my cabinets, I provided a better recommendation for renters. My goal is to inspire renters while ensuring they respect their rental agreements.

    Hello, unfortunately there was. I didn’t pick a good watermelon. It was pretty bland and not ripe and depending on the season and or if they prematurely pick the watermelon it may not be that flavorful or juicy or Sweet. When I make this I don’t always add sugar, I taste it as I go. And that’s why in the video I only added a little bit. It is lemonade and traditionally lemonade does have sugar in it.
