Brian Shaw is 6'8" and Hafþór is a whopping 6'9". Vytautas Lalas is only 5'10". Lithuanians are just built different. Had he never been plagued with back injuries, Lalas could've won, and then a new Lithuanian would've replaced Big Z for a decade.

simple answer to the video title.... "How to overhead press 315 for reps!".... easy answer, be strong enough to OHP 315 for reps and then you can OHP 315 for reps! I rest my case!

Based from the "Talking Strongman" content with Big Loz YT Channel from Laurence Shahlaei, Big Z mentioned that he did not actually properly trained for the WSM 2012 due to his busy schedule doing the strongman comps in 2012 prior to this main comp. Technically, his previous small comps were his "training" for his 3rd winning in WSM back in 2012, what a crazy thing that was 😅 Source: kzread.info/dash/bejne/o3h9m9iqpdbdfZs.html

Derrick had some foresight in his very first competition when he said some competitions are won by fractions of a sec. He came that close to winning a title by that margin.
