    I find it odd that none of Friday's and Sara's relatives are there for the biggest day of their lives! In one ep Lady Aberlin says that Friday has a younger brother and her mother is Friday's younger sister, and neither one are there! Robert Troll is the best man and not his own brother?! And Sara's father didn't give her away?

    Wow! Thank you for your beautiful thoughts. The same thoughts and tears Ed and I experienced when writing this score together. So grateful someone is still noticing, and taking the time to live with both beauty and grief.

    Loved this video man. Sums up my thoughts exactly. I rewatched this mini episode for the first time in years a few days ago, and I couldn’t stop crying 🧡

    I really enjoyed watching this video. It's marvelous to see that Mr. Rogers had a Christmas Special. I also don't think it's weird at all. It's special, and it's so Fred Rogers. He's flexible and perfectly willing to let other characters take the center stage and show off their talents, and yet, all the while, Fred is still there with us. It also probably wouldn't have worked to do everything exactly the way they did in the show in which the episodes were 30 min segments. Everything would have probably felt stretched. This was an hour long special so Fred had to write in some new creativity and some new ideas to make this special truly special. And I do believe he was successful with this.

    I had no idea that King Friday and Queen Sara Saturday were not married from day one. This is extraordinary! And it's so lovely! I'm so glad I got to see this video. This is truly the greatest wedding to ever take place on children's television. I feel that the one shot from inside the castle looking out was a great idea. It was something really special to make this scene all that much more personal for the Queen Bride and King Groom. And since we never see that again, it makes the moment unique to them. I also think the reason that Daniel Tiger wasn't present was because of two things: he simply wasn't in the script (though his clock does appear in the episode) and Fred Rogers was Daniel Tiger. Fred played both Daniel Tiger and King Friday exclusively. Since Fred was clearly playing King Friday for the wedding, he simply couldn't be in two places at once so he couldn't play Daniel Tiger. It could be asked why didn't someone else just pose as Daniel Tiger? The answer is simply that all the cast and crew respected that Fred was Daniel and Daniel was Fred, so out of respect it simply wouldn't have felt right to assume the role of such a special character close to Fred. Only Fred could truly be Daniel. And only Fred could truly be King Friday the 13th.

    OK no disrespect. Yet when I see folks like this uninformed, unorganized, late to the game (this video is just over 2weeks old) and adding nothing to proceedings or topic of discussion of value or interest... It makes me want to update my equipment and create a youtube channel i mean if they can do it so can I... Again no disrespect

    Stopped watching after they didn’t know why that line was mocked. Yeah, her delivery… BUT ALSO piss-poor writing. Too much unneeded exposition crammed into one line. It was a window into the writing of the rest of the movie.

    My favorite scene is the BBQ when Dakota Johnson has to hold a pepsi can facing the camera and does it in the most awkward looking way possible, I hope deliberately as I suspect the cast began to mess with the movie. We've also finally made it to the fireworks factory after 27 years, Milhouse can stop asking.

    Yes they kept the ride almost exactly the same until it was replaced in 2017 minus a slight change to the narration in 2015. The ride they replaced it with was the first ride based on mickey mouse in disney world mickey and minnies run away railway. I like it but they didnt have to demolish this gem for it.

    I've wondered, if Mr. And Mrs. Mcfeeley got married at a young age and adopted an older girl from an orphanage why they became grandparents at a young age

  • @IEPFilms
    @IEPFilms7 ай бұрын

    It was an interesting decision to make then both appear older early on and eventually watch them both age into the parts but yeah it definitely caused some confusion for me as the show went on and they filled out their family and backstory.

  • @kristinlambert8811
    @kristinlambert88117 ай бұрын

    The reason why I asked is because Mr. And Mrs. Mcfeeley were both a pretty young couple and already grandparents in the early Mr. Rogers'neighborhood episodes
