  Review: Service is average. Experience: very interesting to eat on yellow crates Food: it’s personal preference. The menu cannot be varied. You get what you get and everything is generous: meat, salt & sauce. I love how the lamb has those crunchy fatty bits like eating a bacon version; I don’t want just the lean part. The bread is original but may need to get brain to readjust from the usual bread preference in typical kebab shops (don’t expect warm bread especially this winter). It is different than your typical kebab in the concept of bread, selection of fillings & meat cuts. There’s a good balance between the sauce (I wish there’s a third option of hot), the pickles and meat serving… more like eating a lamb burger. I like it because the chips is a better version of the Hungry Jacks (just on a saltier side) and the burger as a whole is hearty. Personally, it’s not “the kebab”, I would think it’s a different type of kebab. Similarly in a pie shop, there are the “mushroom & cheese”, “shepherd’s pie”, “beef pie”…. their version is likened to the beef or chicken version of the pies and not the mushroom or shepherd’s as it contains no veggies: just a hearty kebab. And I think that’s where the mix reviews coming from: some misses the meat & veg combo while others the availability of choice (what sauce, how much and what not to put in). Overall, I love the kebab because of the quality of ingredients and the generosity of portions. It’s a real treat after drinking I guess and satisfying if you’re really hungry. It’s like the Meat Supreme version of pizzas. For me, it’s indulgence - the meat, sauce & salt servings but again, as I said, service could be improved though especially the one taking orders. 9 out of 10 only coz of a bit too much salt on the chips.

  I saw your reviews are 3.3 First, call it Cevap, Chevapci, Cevapcici, Spannerbap, Kebapian, Spanians Eats, whatever but not kebab because people are stupid. Secondly, get your signage wayyy bigger, you could even go full Bladerunner and have a giant screen of your boat race talking through the menu like this video while people queue. Make it madmax, 3.0, Interactive. People hate to arrive at the queue front and not know what to do. Third, the test service way wayyy tooo slow. Ditch the frills, although branding is important, focus on the food and service and wordof mouth. I've been in food since 2008 FYI. Good luck Spanner!! Respect

  totally agree on the taste on the hottest chilli's. I love the heat on them but i hate the taste. Habanero and birdseye is pretty nice. cayenne and jalapenos is also good taste wise, but there is no heat in them that i can even notice.
