Much respect for your comment regarding into the hood, doubt many would give up the views for what's right. I spent a week in Manila in 2007 or 8 and yep, it was eye opening to see the amount of poverty everywhere but the people had so much love.

Agree, I've worked in homelessness, we would have people coming to the shelter I worked at trying to film, we called in 'poverty porn'.

Cambodia is friendly and safe. I been there 2 times. Awesome place to visit. You got to get the Siem Reap to see Angkor Wat and the other hundred temples around it. Blow your mind

Lad!! Proud of your approach to different culture!! You are spot on and so respectful. There is definately a lot you could cover of Philippino culture and yet you refused to take advantage of the easy low hanging fruit in the slums. Massive respect to you!! I hope no one ever judges you by your cover, because you are a person who can see things exactly for what they are, and you are not offensive in your assessments. Ive been to Philippines many times and even with the machine guns ive never felt unsafe. Just never make anyone 'lose face' or dance around flaunting you have money and they dont and you be sweet. The guards with the pump actions are actually super polite and helpful if you ask for directions etc. Prance like a show pony and some one nasty will be watching.

Love Cambodia. A very poor country but the most nicest and generous people. Can'y wait to see the episode.
