This is such a great video. I love that you lay the ground rules for taking only small amounts from the bush and leaving it as you found it (even though it should go without saying). Also it's so great to see plants I recognise as an Aussie - it can be tricky to find Australian survival content! Keep it up :)

Mate as a relatively recent subscriber (early 2013 or so), it’s so damn beautiful to be going back through these oldies. I can’t give enough credit to you and appreciate what you’ve done enough. Seeing you in your early stages just makes me so undyingly grateful for your determination to do what you’ve done. Words can’t express how you’ve inspired me and made me hopeful for days of exploration when I’m stuck at home. Much love from Dharawal country 🙏🏼🙏🏼

As to using the word yeah..don’t change who you are to suit someone’s negative comments. It’s part of who you are. It’s quite Aussie and I rather like it. Canadians also use yeah. Keep being you because you can’t satisfy everyone anyway.

I felt that IT moment with ya bro. The world has some stunning places and if people, especially City people, just took a step back from day to day life once in a while to appreciate the beauty this planet has to offer and realise we really need to do everything we can to protect it. Great Video mate thoroughly enjoyed it. What an amazing place.

Do you still recommend the Scarpa Terra GTX boots as your all year hiking boot? Or would prefer you bought the more heavily built (over built?) Scarpa Delta GTX? Or something else entirely? I’m after a new pair that give enough protection against aussie snake fangs. The Terra are 2ml thick leather, the Delta are slightly thicker but look over built for Australian conditions 🤔
