Spartan is a series of obstacle races of varying distance and difficulty ranging from 3+ miles to marathon distances. They are held in over 42 countries around the world. The series include the Spartan Sprint (3+ miles of obstacle racing), the Super Spartan (8+ miles), the Spartan Beast (13+ miles), and the Ultra Beast (26+ miles). With obstacles such as the spear throw, rope climb, barbed wire crawl and more, racers will know at the finish line what it means to be a Spartan. AROO!

So, there is a spartan race coming up in 5 to 6 days. Never trained, never worked out before, never done anything like it. Am i stupid for wanting to go and do it and try to do all three races? I dont know who to call to ask about it as i just learned about it. Do you think i would have unlimited time? Or do they normally have a cut off time for people? Sorry for asking here but there is no phone number for the race and it is happening about 2 hours away so there is not alot of people to ask around me.

Today is the best day ever
This really works. Like I've been sick for 5 weeks, the grass has grown long, thick and waterlogged from heaps of rain. So I get up and mow 2-3sq m before I have to go rest, every day, using a push mower too. First day I cried my eyes out I felt so sick afterwards. But I got it done. Like during a nervous breakdown after the worst time in my life. Had moved into a new place, pregnant, two children, exhausted, would have liked to die. The place a mess, so I cleaned just one cupboard or shelf or drawer every day. That's all I could manage. One bite at a time.

Great advice, but what I have been running into is the ropes have gotten much thinner in the races. Last year in Bethel, I think the rope was 1/2 the size that you show.

Dude did not have full elbow extension on weighted burpees. Zero judging accountability. I see cheater is allowed
I think they adjusted the rules from 2 years ago.. but I agree overall that judging is always suspect. The lunges are rarely locked out
Alternating hangs problem: as soon as I let go one hand, that side of the body drops down. I can still hang on one hand for a few seconds but my other shoulder is too far down so the hand doesn't reach the bar.
How heavy is it?
I come from running and will do my first Spartan race next month. I started to add burpees every few kilometers when running but it just isn‘t that much fun.

Watching and hearing these stories amazes me and truly inspires me. It shows their dedication and resilience in everyday life. I’m impressed that they show bravery and effort in doing hard work and not giving up easily!
I am more grateful that we have this kind of people who have unimaginable strength and for them to have a mindset that inspires others.
Watching this video made my respect towards SEAL improve because Just the mental fatigue alone would make most people quit in the forst month Also i admire the dedication during the hellish training of these individuals to serve there country
