My channel is dedicated to those gospel preachers. Those great preachers of the past and also the great preachers of today. I recently discovered a box full of old cassette tapes that belonged to gospel preacher James Jones. I will be uploading those sermons here on my channel.

Hello, I’ve been on a journey seeking Christ starting in 2018 and I obeyed the gospel and was added to God’s church in October 2022. I’m in God’s word every day on some level, whether it’s reading the Bible, listening to The Church Of Christ on KZread, or speaking to someone about God, or listening to a sermon and Bible study, etc… My heart has been so weighed down lately and I prayed hard last night asking for guidance in anything that I am doing or not doing that is in accordance or not in accordance with the will of God. I woke up to this video today and I’m overwhelmed with gratitude . I have gotten caught up in shopping and accumulating things. I’m alone in this journey, the man I’m married to works out of state and he wants nothing to do with Christ and he is an alcoholic. My adult children are heathens and want nothing to do with God. My folks want nothing to do with God. Again, this video is priceless and I’m going to get to work minimizing my life. The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want … God bless 🙏🏼

Although Mr. Jackson was a great preacher, he’s forgetting that the Constitution of the US and the Bill of Rights is the law of the land and NOT whoever is elected, and was written with the Bible as its foundation.. And it protects us with certain rights in order to protect ourselves from Tyranny. To say we aren’t to take another human life in defense of our country is to say that America should have never been formed.
Old school preaching is the best! I’m so thankful to be in the body of Christ. Love y’all my brothers and sisters in Christ ❤❤❤❤

Actually this Sermon by Brother Bill Crews was preached at the Lawson church of Christ in Lawson, MO. Brother Crews preached for us on a monthly basis from around 2007 until sometime in 2021 when he decided that the drive was more than he could endure due to his age. Bill Crews was born June 25, 1928. He and his wife Doris worship with the Roan Ridge church of Christ in Kansas City (North) Missouri. Brother Crews was the humblest of preachers. He could preach for an hour, and we always thought it was a short sermon. Most scripture he quoted from memory and rarely had to refer to the written text. I do not have specific details of his preaching life, but I do know he preached for a number of years in Louisiana and Texas before moving to Missouri. He and his wife are loved dearly by the Lawson congregation.

The Lord's church was well-represented on the mid-1950's Cardinals: Lindy McDaniel and his younger brother Von, Don Blasingame, and one or two others.
Another reason to root for the Cardinals!
@@Robert.Pruett Well, I'm from Corinth, MS (home of Don Blasingame), and believe me, all of Corinth and surrounding towns were Cardinal fans. His mother and my grandmother were sisters. I could teach a class on the influence of one seemingly unimportant person who stood by her convictions. I haven't never counted, but I would guess that around 200 people are or were members of the church largely due to that one person. I'm sure many have similar stories.
@@brendanjobe6895 That is so true. The influence of just one person can do so much. I thought Lindy’s story was very interesting. He refused to pitch on Sundays. He stood by his convictions.
Maybe if more of us heard sermons like Andrew’s, the church would grow today. I fear that our country will be judged and us as Christians also because we have not sacrificed at all. Keep publishing these great sermons. I hope your channel grows.
