Richard E Black was born in Beach City, OH on March 22, 1934. He gave his first talk at the age of 12. Brother Black preached for congregations of the Lord's church in California, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. He married Martha Jane Wallace on 10-4-54. They were married for 44 years until the passing of brother Black on 6-4-98. He edited the Torch of Truth magazine for many years. He has six children and five grandchildren. He was also the son-in-law of Foy E Wallace Jr.
