Stellantis will be busted up in 5-7 years. The French have no clue how to sell cars, or build cars (electric Charger?) for the USA market. This is just blatant price gouging. Some vehicles that were $45,000 pre covid are now $85,000. That is price gouging.

No one is buying that over priced badly made vehicles. At least if they were reliable then it might be nice to buy but they are badly built with a lip stick on a pig luxury interior. Would rather buy a car where I don't have mechanical problems even if the interior is not as nice.

Trucks are now expensive (overpriced) luxury vehicles. There are also only a few individual custom-order options for the Buyer. "Package this." " Package that. " There is always something I want that I can't get. Or items I do not want, for one item I really want. $80,000+ for this hassle? NO! Years ago, Buyers went through pages of items and were able to custom order almost any combination a person desired for a lot less money, and more fun. Even Two-Tone paint, several dozen paint colors, and manual transmissions were optional! You could even order different engine sizes with any trim. Now, you pretty much get what you get as the dealerships yank the large amount of money out of your hands. We as Buyers should at least receive what we want like we did decades ago.

It used to be in my lifetime that financing an auto loan for anything over 48 months was unheard of. They’ve extended to 60, 66, 72 month loans just so you can barely afford the payments and by the time you pay it off the vehicle is falling apart. It’s all designed to fail.
