  In the reboot, Freddy and Bill Clinton could lure the children to an evil island owned by a vampire who must harvest the children's adrenochrome 😂

  I love the design of the Martinfly creature. It doesn't really look like a fly _per se,_ but it's hideous and awesome nonetheless.

  Sorry, but disagree 100%. This is one of the better remakes. Well acted and well written. I prefer this Freddy to the goofy one in the sequels.

  Tried too rip off rob zombie Halloween. Basically the remakes they wanted scary. No one can be scared no more. Especially with shit cast. This isn't 70s 80s . Can't remake old days

  Unfortunately which we need england needs too come back and kill Freddy. His own way. Legends live in death. Freddy v Jason 2 would be a perfect way. Kane Holder as Jason tho. Perfect way too go. Kill Jason too to be honest

  It wasn't that bad and at least it was rated R unlike certain other remakes at the time. Could it have been a lot better? Yes. But it is nowhere as bad as you are making it out to be. Go watch the Cinema Snob review; he gives a little bit more credit to this movie.

  Maybe I'm just biased because this was my introduction to a Nightmare on Elm Street, as was the 2009 Friday the 13th, and goddamn, did that movie do a great job! That was one time where Michael Bay's signature "sexualizing" of female characters work for a change

  Freddy was gonna be a pedo in the first movie, but because so many children were reported getting murdered around that time, Wes Craven decided not to make Freddy a pedo. I feel like some people bitch about this movie because it was probably closer to what Wes Craven was gonna do, and because he didn't get to do it, and Robert England wasn't Freddy, a lot of people hate it.

  what was the point of the glove if he never used it to kill the kids? freddy made the glove because he know it would scare the kids right before he killed them with it. in this movie he just has it just because.

  I dont understand why Hollywood insists on hiring actors, producers, writers who aren't interested in the project they are working on. If I was a producer they would have to love the source material and want to be there.

  Everyone has an opinion, it doesn’t mean that they are right though. This isn't the worst remake out there, its a good remake like the Friday the 13th remake. People just get butthurt because Robert Englund isn't playing Freddy and they suddenly forget that it was always hinted at that he diddled his victims before killing them.

  I always felt like this movie might not ever work today because we’re just in a new era of film and we’ve been exposed to SO much stuff. It’s hard to make it work. I also feel like people need to get a f^cking life “complaining” about him being a p3do. Like…is him being a CHILD MU8DERER/SERIAL KILLER any better? 😂 The only shot for a remake is what the Candyman reboot tried to do, and that’s pretty much touching on the concept of copycat killers and obsessive fandom - that’s probably why the new Scream movies have worked.

  While this Freddy Krueger looks like a Ghoul from Fallout, he also sounds like Wolf O'Donnell from StarFox especially StarFox Zero or StarFox Assault.
